Sweet, Gentle, & Emotional My name is Harrison, and I’m a 7-month-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix hoping to find the forever family who can give me the life my heart is ready for. I’m a petite 14 pounds now and will probably end up around 16 pounds as an adult—just the right size to hold close. I was adopted as a tiny puppy by an elderly woman and her adult daughter who loved me with their whole hearts. But life has changed in ways none of us expected, and they can no longer keep up with my needs. They’ve cared for me the best they could, but walks, training, and outdoor potty routines became too difficult. I’ve been using pee pads inside simply because they had no other option. They made the brave, loving decision to ask Critter Cavalry Rescue for help, and now I’m hoping for a home with people who are active, gentle, and ready to help me learn. I’m still young and eager—ready for walks, playtime, backyard exploring, and adventures. I ride well in the car and would love to be the little co-pilot who tags along wherever you go. I’m a good boy with tons of potential—I just need someone who has the time and energy to guide me, love me, and help me grow into the best version of myself. Story

Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years. This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home. She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done. We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds. We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them. Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life. She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside. But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience. This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people. She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings. Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle. We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart. Story

Flora came from a high kill shelter in TX with her 3 puppies last year before they were all going to be euthanized. Adoptions for big dogs are down and we have had this sweetie for too long looking for her forever home. She is such a sweet girl. She would love another dog to play with in a fenced in yard. Being a husky she would not be happy in an apartment. The foster mum has been a bit generous with food for Flora and we are working on slimming her down a bit. You would not be disappointed with this girl. She would be best suited in a home with bigger children as we believe she was abused by young children when she was living on the streets, throwing things at her. She has never been an issue for any of the adults in our rescue. She was never an issue at the high kill shelter we got her from even with them handling her babies.. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $350 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.
