Story
You know every rescue dog has a pretty significant story that all of us cry over and fight  to help make their life better. This young girl Katya grew up on a pretty despairing property that was full of unaltered cats and dogs and not enough food and sometimes no water and often there was not adequate shelter from all the rain and elements of weather. None of the people around her could take care of all the animals. She was tied out and it broke our heart to go on the property and see the condition shevand others were raised in. Katya has risen above all of that as a one-year-old Husky that weighs 60 lbs. and she is a pure love.   A happy girl with a little bit of shyness because she's never gotten out into the world to experience new things. When we picked her up from the property and took her off that chain we knew she would be smiling very soon. She is always so overjoyed when you cuddle with her and play. She is a mellow Husky with medium energy that is easy to entertain and deal with.  She's lived amongst many cats all her life,  so that typical Husky caution of ' no cats allowed',  doesn't apply to her. She loves children, loves other dogs and she enjoys meeting adults with just a tad shyness and time to warm up to them. We want someone to spoil her rotten. We want someone that will let her sit on their lap and pretend that she's a Chihuahua like she thinks she is in size. She has  an innocence that makes you just want to hug and protect her. She makes you want to give her a better life and future.  If you've got a fenced yard, a Husky loving home, and some time, we want to hear from you. Maybe even just living in an apartment with a dog park could be the much better life that she's looking for. It would be such a better life than what she's had. Let's all come together and find Katya the best new life ever.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 23, 2025, 11:28 am

Story
Poor Aspen has grown up with us in rescue from a puppy, as big dog adoptions are down. He is such a sweet dog that just wants to run and get attention. His brother and sister have been adopted. Aspen's mum was brought into a rural shelter in TX very pregnant. She was hanging around some apartment complex, found a couch to lay on. The very next day after arriving at the shelter she had 3 puppies. Flora is the mum and she is a Siberian Husky who is the same colour as Aspen. The shelter she was at was full and there was a big plea to save her and her babies lives to which we answered. All the puppies are very sweet. Aspen is now ready for his home after being fixed, had all shots for his age and micro chipped. His breed is high energy so no apartments. A fenced in yard and buddy would be wonderful. If you are interested in this handsome fellow please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $450 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee ($250) is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
We are so excited to present our beautiful Husky mix girl.named Asia to a gentle and loving family.  This beautiful girl with the most stunning blue eyes, has risen from some very difficult times in her life. After having raised a beautiful litter of puppies.  Asia is 2 years old and weighs 47 pounds. She is eight very sweet natured girl who has just discovered toys and the joy of hearing them squeak as she plays with them.   She is living in a foster home with a senior Australian. Shepherd mick's mail and she is very respectful of his age in his calmness. Asia loves to go for walks and is very good on the leash and extremely good in the house when her foster, mom is gone to work. Asia checks all the boxes. When it comes to being a good girl, that is housebroken, knows good house manners and shares her living space sweetly with a gentle, senior dog.  When she looks at you with those beautiful blue eyes, she has so much to say from the depth of her soul. Asia has always longed for a home of her own, and people that were kind to her. She didn't have this in the past and Critter, Cavalry took her and her puppies from a bad situation and promised her a new start with a very special life.  We are searching high and low for that now.  Asia is not a high energy girl, nor is she a big barker or noisy talker.  She is a fun girl to have around and very easy going. She is not an anxious girl at all. If you are looking for a dog that will adore you and be grateful every day for what you give her, please consider adopting her.  Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and mention where you live, city and state. Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission. Story
Pashia – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Dog Looking for Her Person    There are dogs who come and go in our lives... and then there are dogs like Pashia — the kind of soul who doesn’t just enter your world, she changes it.  At 2 years old and 55 pounds, Pashia is a breathtaking blue-eyed Husky with a quiet strength and a heart that speaks volumes once it trusts you. She’s not just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees beyond the pretty face and into the smart, loyal, sensitive spirit that lies beneath.  This girl has so much love to give, but she doesn’t give it away to just anyone — and that’s what makes it so special. Once Pashia chooses you, it’s for keeps. She will be your shadow on the trails, your snuggle buddy during movie nights, your calm presence on quiet mornings. The bond you build with her won’t be just another pet relationship — it will be deep, soulful, and unforgettable. Pashia is beautifully balanced — playful and silly with her toys (she treasures them and never destroys them), yet calm and observant when the day winds down. She loves sitting by a window or glass door, just watching the world — as if taking it all in with a quiet kind of wisdom. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. She walks well on leash and enjoys slow strolls where she can take in the sights, scents, and sounds of nature.  She’s a work of art in motion — elegant and athletic — and would thrive with someone who wants a partner for outdoor adventures. But more than anything, she wants a heart to anchor to.  Because of her past, she takes time to trust, and she’s selective with some dogs — especially those with dominant personalities. She’s done well with older or submissive male dogs and could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. She just needs a home that’s calm, structured, and full of love. Someone who understands that earning the affection of a dog like Pashia isn’t instant — but is entirely worth the wait.  Pashia has grown so much and overcome so many quiet battles. Now, she’s ready to settle into a life where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. If you’re someone who doesn’t just want a dog, but wants one to be 'your' dog — the kind of companion who looks into your eyes and just gets you — then Pashia may be the one you've been waiting for. &#226&#156&#168 Give her the fairytale ending she deserves. Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Pashia. Because once she lets you into her heart… you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 25, 2025, 8:57 pm
