Name, age, breed: Kazoo, 3 Months, Alaskan Husky mixLikes: being held, bathtubs/water, treats, crinkly toys, toys with treats!Dislikes: leashes/harnesses, loud noisesWhat would be the ideal home? home with active parents. A big backyard would also be ideal as she loves to run!Good with other cats? UnknownGood with dogs? YesGood with children? YesTemperament: Kazoo loves people and wants nothing more than to be held. She’s quite a laid-back dog, so long as she goes out for about an hour daily. She spends most of the day snoozing with big bursts of energy early in the morning and before bed.Motivators? Treats!Any commands? Sit, stay, lay down (though, she will only listen to you if there’s a treat in hand)House trained? YesCrate trained? Yes (can comfortably stay in crate for 1.5 hours). She is used to sleeping in bed.How long will it take to settle into a new environment? Kazoo can be a bit nervous in new environments and will take about 2 weeks to settle into her forever home.Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Kazoo needs to be leash trained, as she pulls quite hard. Someone will also need to continue with crate training. At night she loves curling up on the bed and falls asleep as soon as the lights go off. She sleeps soundly until 7:30 each morning, so you’ll never need an alarm clock again!Kazoo loves people of all ages and enjoys the company of other dogs.
