File #24-269 Current Foster Location: Arnprior, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi, Im Elara, and I'm the Chief Happiness Officer. Im your built-in 6:00 AM alarm clock, your yard zoomies champion, and your personal cheerleader. Ill nap while you work (as long as I can see you), but if youre up for a walk or a car ride, Im so in! Im housetrained, food-motivated and I can be a little cautious when meeting new dogs, but once I know them, its all play, all day. Im not a fan of sudden loud noises (who is?), and I get a little excited about food and pats, so small kiddos might not be my scene. But if youre looking for a snuggle buddy, walking partner, or zoomies enthusiast, Im your gal. Oh, and at bedtime? Im happy to curl up beside youor on youyour choice! Story
File #24-275Current Foster Location: Almonte, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi, Im Balto, the Brave (and Adorably Clumsy) Explorer! Like my legendary namesake, Balto the sled dog, Im ready to lead the way...to the snack cupboard. I wake up between 6 and 7 am (early riser, sorry!) and head outside for my morning business. Then its breakfast time, followed by my busy schedule of playing with my foster dog sibling, playfully chasing the house cat (who Im convinced is just a funky-looking dog), and hanging out with my human foster siblings. In my short life, I've already discovered that older kids are top-tier snuggle buddies, and little kids have the best potential for becoming my ride-or-die snack suppliers. Wherever they go, I follow because their trail is paved with crumbs and endless adventure. Sometimes, though, when the house gets too wild, I retreat to my crate for some peace and quiet. While I can thrive as the solo star in your home, having another dog around might help me settle in and keep my trademark Husky vocals in check. With time, training, and plenty of love, I promise to become the best family pup ever. Story
File #24-284Current Foster Location: Brockville, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Well, hey there! My names Glory, and Im basically the cutest, smartest little bundle of fur youll ever meet. From day one, I was nailing the whole pee pad thingwhat can I say? Im a prodigy. Im also quite the multitasker. I practice ringing the bells on the door to show off my smarts, and if my human is paying attention (which they usually are because Im irresistible), I might get to explore the porch. Pee pads are strategically placed all over my kingdomI mean, the houseand Im learning to be a pro at this whole potty thing. The crate is not my favourite spot, but I tolerate it because Im a good girl. L I have a canine housemate who Id LOVE to play with, but he ignores me. Rude. That's okay though, because my favourite thing in the world is my human. Im always at their feet, coming when they call (most of the time), and sticking close. I might have a stubborn streak, that's just part of my charm. I'm a smart, snuggly, slightly sassy pup wholl keep you on your toes and steal your heart. File #24-286 Current Foster Location: Frankville, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi, Im Hope! My mornings start with enthusiastic greetings for my foster sistersdogs, kitten, and humans alike. Im playful, cuddly, and ready to be everyones BFF. I love learning by copying my foster siblings, so having another dog in my forever home would be amazing. Im working hard on housetraining and keeping my chewing to approved targets (apparently, pant legs and slippers aren't chew toys). Im gentle with the kitten, great with kids, and eager to soak up all the love and guidance youve got. Oh, and Im probably going to be a big dog, so maybe skip the apartment lifeI need room for my zoomies!   Please visit our website www.ittakesavillagedogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other available dogs.
