Does your canine buddy need another buddy?! Here's your new dog!! Balto absolutely loves other dogs, not to mention people! He is housetrained and working on crate training. He was found wandering the streets of Toppenish, WA. He's about a 1.5 young, reportedly "never" barks, and while he'd be fine with a shorter fence, he does looks for gaps to go explore. He is very curious about the kitties in his foster home, but not in a malicious way. Balto is FANTASTIC with kids (he's been around babies and toddlers), strangers, and we'll say it again..... other dogs! Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options! That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Pheobe's family describes her as "just a really good dog". Pheobe is affectionate, smart, loyal, has grown up with kids and currently lives with ages 1-8 years old. Why does such a "good dog" need a new home? Sadly, Pheobe has caused heartache by severely injuring a couple of small animal house mates. Pheobe is crate trained, does well on car rides, pulls like a husky on walks, loves treats, sitting on laps, snuggling and being part of every day life. Pheobe is great with dogs her size (35+ lbs), has never tried to jump their 4 foot fence. She loves to talk and give her opinion, play ball and sun bathe. Can you help this girl get a fresh start so her family can heal? Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options!
