Story
...Paco is a young, energetic, and adventurous Husky who is ready to find his forever home! He originally came to us after being found running around Clover Island in Kennewick. No one came looking for this beautiful boy, and after his stray hold was up, he was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately, that home later became unavailable, and Paco was surrendered back to us through no fault of his own.Like many Huskies, Paco has a bit of an escape artist streak. If he sees an opening, he may try to make a break for it, so a secure, high fence will be essential to keeping this adventurous boy safe. He is also an active dog who will need plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep his busy mind and body happy.Paco has previously lived with other dogs. During one of his meet-and-greets, he did well with a small dog, but once in the home, he began viewing that dog as something to chase and chew on. Because of this, he would do best with dogs closer to his own size and should not live with small animals. At just a little over a year old, Paco is still very much a puppy at heart. He can be mouthy and playful, which is common for his breed and age, and he will need continued training and guidance to learn appropriate ways to play and interact. He is friendly with every person he meets and, once he settles in, is a fun, spirited companion who loves to explore, play, and enjoy life.Paco will do best with experienced dog owners who understand the unique needs of Huskies and are prepared for their energy, independence, and occasional mischievousness. He needs a patient and committed family who can provide structure, training, exercise, and—most importantly—a secure environment.Paco is a wonderful, friendly young dog who has a lot of love and personality to offer. He just needs the right person who is ready to keep up with him and help him become the best dog he can be!Paco`s adoption fee is $50, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and deworming and flea treatment.

Story
Oso was adopted from a family who had all his brother and sisters. He caught our eye with his beautiful polka dots and different colored eyes. He is very energetic and enjoys being outside with his family. He loves playing catch, rolling in the grass and is friendly with kids. He loves to cuddle and play in the snow. He knows how to give a handshake and roll over for a yummy treat! We’re hoping he can go to a loving family or someone who needs a companion. He loves attention & we’re hoping someone can give him all of that. Will pay for neuter if need to. Just want Oso to go to a loving home.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Puddles! He is a male Husky mix born in December 2022. Puddles came to us from Tri City Animal Control. He is a typical goofy young dog! Active, adorable and curious, He gets along great with other dogs but has been known to chase a cat so would do best in a cat free home. He’s an active chewer so having lots of appropriate chew toys is important. He is very curious and eager to please-he would greatly benefit from a home that will continue training to make him the best dog possible. He is potty trained and would do great with a doggy door so he can do his business on his own. Puddles will do best in an active home with a secure 6 foot fence and preferably another canine companion. Breed experience is a bonus 😊 If there are kids in the home, preferably over the age of 5. Story
Born February 6, 2021 Awarra is a male Pitbull/Shepherd mix seeking a forever home. He is a parvo survivor! He potty trained with a doggie door in his foster home. He is great with other dogs and has been exposed to cats and kittens. He is 60 pounds and is likely full grown. His foster mom describes him as playful, affectionate and silly. Awarra takes a bit of time to warm up to new people but once he does, he's all tail wags and friendliness! A secure 6 foot fence and home ownership is required as well as a home with adults or with adults and kids over 5. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com
