Story
Does your canine buddy need another buddy?! Here's your new dog!! Balto absolutely loves other dogs, not to mention people! He is housetrained and working on crate training. He was found wandering the streets of Toppenish, WA. He's about a 1.5 young, reportedly "never" barks, and while he'd be fine with a shorter fence, he does looks for gaps to go explore. He is very curious about the kitties in his foster home, but not in a malicious way. Balto is FANTASTIC with kids (he's been around babies and toddlers), strangers, and we'll say it again..... other dogs! Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options! That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/ If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org. Story
Pheobe's family describes her as "just a really good dog". Pheobe is affectionate, smart, loyal, has grown up with kids and currently lives with ages 1-8 years old. Why does such a "good dog" need a new home? Sadly, Pheobe has caused heartache by severely injuring a couple of small animal house mates. Pheobe is crate trained, does well on car rides, pulls like a husky on walks, loves treats, sitting on laps, snuggling and being part of every day life. Pheobe is great with dogs her size (35+ lbs), has never tried to jump their 4 foot fence. She loves to talk and give her opinion, play ball and sun bathe. Can you help this girl get a fresh start so her family can heal? Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options! That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works. Story
Dirk was born May 31, 2025. I adopted him from a friend who had a litter, and decided to get him alongside my cat. I find that my schedule got busier than normal since I started a new business after the summer, and I haven’t had time to really train him and play with him as I should. I think it’s best he goes to a dog-lover that would do a better job.

Story
Meet Puddles! He is a male Husky mix born in December 2022. Puddles came to us from Tri City Animal Control. He is a typical goofy young dog! Active, adorable and curious, He gets along great with other dogs but has been known to chase a cat so would do best in a cat free home. He’s an active chewer so having lots of appropriate chew toys is important. He is very curious and eager to please-he would greatly benefit from a home that will continue training to make him the best dog possible. He is potty trained and would do great with a doggy door so he can do his business on his own. Puddles will do best in an active home with a secure 6 foot fence and preferably another canine companion. Breed experience is a bonus 😊 If there are kids in the home, preferably over the age of 5. Story
Born February 6, 2021 Awarra is a male Pitbull/Shepherd mix seeking a forever home. He is a parvo survivor! He potty trained with a doggie door in his foster home. He is great with other dogs and has been exposed to cats and kittens. He is 60 pounds and is likely full grown. His foster mom describes him as playful, affectionate and silly. Awarra takes a bit of time to warm up to new people but once he does, he's all tail wags and friendliness! A secure 6 foot fence and home ownership is required as well as a home with adults or with adults and kids over 5. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com
