Pup (A143596) is a 1-year-old Alaskan malamute x Greenland husky mix who weighed over 60 lbs at intake!10/12/26 Pup is back at the shelter due to no fault of his own. His adoptive owner found that they were severely allergic to his dander. He was said to be a great dog who loved to play fetch! If you are interested in meeting Pup, please let us know! 09/26/26 This super sweet and well-meaning guy is Pup! Pup was brought to the shelter because he was a little too sensitive to be a sled dog. Pup found the dog yard and general chaos of mushing overwhelming and a bit scary. He was said to do well with humans of all ages, though he can be nervous around strangers. He was also said to do well with other dogs, and he may do great as a skijor buddy! He is not used to living indoors, so he will need help with his manners and his potty training. He was said to be kennel trained and housebroken and to ride well in the car. He does not have experience with other animals, such as cats, livestock, or small critters. Pup is a gentle soul that was made for the indoor life. He just needs a little help becoming the best pet dog that he can be. Story
Koda is a very good calm gentle boy!! I no longer can take care of him and afford to bring him to the vet. He has had a skin issue develop recently, I thought was due to either our hard water or diet but am unsure because some new growth has appeared. I believe he is due for shots so therefore my adoption fee is free. The funds can go towards his vet visit. I am also moving and will not be able to bring him along and want him to be in a good home he deserves with love and care.
