Ace (A140774) is an 8-month-old AK Malamute x GSD mix who weighed over 60 pounds on intake!08/22/26 Mister Ace arrived back at the shelter as a stray, and we could not reach his most recent owner. So now he is now looking for his new forever home! Ace has been an absolute goofball at the shelter! He has done well with keeping his kennel clean while at the shelter. We do not know anymore recent history, so please continue reading for more information! If you think Ace is the dog for you, please give us a call!05/18/26 Ace is back at the shelter because his owner felt they did not have the time to devote to them after recently having twins. He is a high energy puppy looking for his new family to love! He was described as having a `happy` personality and definitely enjoyed greeting the staff! His owner noted that he is kennel-trained, housebroken, and has been working on his basic commands. He has the puppy wiggles and is looking for a home that will be able to continue working on his training! Ace was said to have met a few other dogs and tends to be interested in saying hi unless they bark at him. He has no history with cats. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new potential friends. If you are interested in meeting Ace, please let us know!02/02/26 These adorable pups were surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding their new places to call home! An embark test showed he is predominantly an AK Malamute x GSD. Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time to devote to them. They have been working on potty training, but will need continued help in their new home. As they grow, they will also need help with kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They have had a great start in foster and have been socialized with kiddos! These pups are teething and should be provided with appropriate toys, so they do not chew on you! Frozen kongs can be a great tool! Storm is a very sweet and kind gentleman who has completely stolen our hearts. We’re honestly a little shocked that no one came looking for this handsome boy! His easygoing personality and gentle nature make him such a joy to have around. Storm would prefer to be the center of your world. While he is happy to coexist with other dogs and is easily redirected, Storm would much rather have your love and attention all to himself. He wants to be your guy, your shadow, and the recipient of all the good scratches! This handsome gentleman also has a serious appreciation for the pampered lifestyle. He has loved being brushed, enjoys a good bath, and seems to think being doted on is exactly how life should be. We can’t say we disagree! Storm may be potty trained, as he consistently keeps his space clean here at the shelter. Of course, transitioning into a new home comes with a whole new routine, so he will need some time and patience as he learns where things are and what his new schedule looks like. He is also a nice leash walker and knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “paw.” Overall, Storm is a pretty easygoing, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. He doesn’t seem to ask for much—just a comfortable place to call home, some quality time with his people, and maybe a few spa days sprinkled in for good measure. Storm recently had a mass removed and is still enjoying a little recovery time, but we’re happy to say that he is feeling great and ready to find his forever home! His new family will just need to give him a little extra time to finish healing and follow any recommended aftercare. Storm is simply one of those dogs who makes you wonder how he ended up here in the first place. We adore this sweet gentleman.

Story
Koda is a very good calm gentle boy!! I no longer can take care of him and afford to bring him to the vet. He has had a skin issue develop recently, I thought was due to either our hard water or diet but am unsure because some new growth has appeared. I believe he is due for shots so therefore my adoption fee is free. The funds can go towards his vet visit. I am also moving and will not be able to bring him along and want him to be in a good home he deserves with love and care.
