Dog's Name: Baby Sierra (SIE0525ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Alaskan Malamute / Lab mix Approximate Age: DOB 3/2/25 Approximate Weight: 10 LBS Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Baby Sierra! Sierra is part of a litter of three (Baby Diego, Baby Sierra and Baby Frisco). These cuties came from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. Thankfully, they have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and landed nice foster homes. And while they have enjoyed being part of the puppy pile, they are now ready to find their forever homes. Could that be with you? They are all very sweet and loving. They are playful and just adore other dogs. At their young ages, they are in their prime for training and socialization. Ready to bring a puppy into your family? Well, Sierra is ready to bring the joy, fun and happiness that owning a dog can bring. Apply today and give this very deserving girl the home of her dreams! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
