Story
Tacoma is a 🔵 MATCH 2 — CLASSIC NORTHERN with a H1 — MINOR PAST CONCERN behavioral history. And honestly? This boy is a sweetheart. ❤️ His H1 isn't because he's aggressive — it's because his past mistreatment means trust and handling need to be earned. He is nervous about strangers messing with his collar, so his new family will need to give him time to decompress and build that relationship. Once he trusts you, he's a completely different boy. 🏠 Excellent house manners 🎾 Loves toys 🩷 Belly-rub enthusiast 🐕 Does well with easygoing/submissive dogs 🐱 Cats may be possible, but aren't guaranteed 🦮 Slight leash pulling, but very manageable ❤️ Not destructive and just wants attention Tacoma isn't going to be your typical 3-3-3 rule dog. He's going to need more time than that — and that's okay. Give this boy the time he deserves and you'll get something pretty amazing in return: A dog who finally knows he's safe and has a family of his own. 🥹❤️ 🔵 MATCH 2 — CLASSIC NORTHERN H1 — MINOR PAST CONCERN Tacoma isn't asking for perfect. He's asking for patient. 🐾

Story
Symeron is a 🔵 MATCH 2 — CLASSIC NORTHERN with a H1 — MINOR PAST CONCERN behavioral history. And before anyone sees H1 and worries — Symeron has NEVER had a bite history. ❤️ His H1 is specifically because he has shown resource guarding around food, toys? and even things like water. That's something we take seriously and want his future family to understand and manage, but it has never resulted in a bite or an attack on a person. Symeron is actually a very sweet, playful boy. He just needs a little help with his leash manners and, like most Malamutes, he has some opinions about how other dogs should behave. 😂 He generally does well with other dogs as long as they are calm, respectful and like his play style. He doesn't appreciate dogs jumping all over his back, so a dog who respects his personal space is going to be his best friend. ❌ Absolutely NO cats. So his Match 2 tells you he's still a pretty typical northern-breed placement, while his H1 tells you there is one specific behavior his family needs to understand. 🔵 MATCH 2 — CLASSIC NORTHERN H1 — MINOR PAST CONCERN H1 is for resource guarding — NOT a bite history. ❤️ Sweet & playful 🐕 Does well with respectful, compatible dogs 🦮 Needs some leash work 🍖 Guards food & resources, including water ❌ No cats 🚫 No bite history Symeron is a good boy with some very clear boundaries. 😂 Respect them, manage his resources properly, and you'll have one happy, playful Malamute who is ready to love his people. 🐾💙

Story
Syncoya came to us at 5 months old with her 3 brothers, Santaquin, Symeron and Sequoia. That was over 3 years ago. She and her brothers are purebred standard size Malamutes at about 80lbs. Syncoya has spent some time in a foster home and learned housebreaking and crate training very quickly. She is very intelligent, learns quickly and loves humans. We would say cats are a no and though she did okay with other dogs in the foster home, probably no on that as well. She and her brothers were starved and lived in a chicken coop where they had to fight one another for food. Even coming here as young as they did, she will always be possessive over food and toys, afraid there will never be enough. That is really her only quirk. All Syncoya wants or needs is her own person or persons. Syncoya would do incredible in a home with older children to play with ( wee children may accidentally get knocked down) As a special note it may be possible for her to do okay with a submissive male, she has done ok with other dogs in her foster home, til she didn't. She is very possessive of food and toys so there is no guarantee she would do okay with other dogs. But she loves humans and is incredibly loving.

Braxton is a great dog. We love him. But he loves to be outside and run and we do not have a yard equipped for that. Good with people and kids.

Story
Meet Dacre, a 6-month-old, 40 lb bundle of potential with a heart that just needs a little time to shine. Dacre does great with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes. He’s a routine-loving pup who feels most comfortable when he knows what to expect, structure is his best friend and helps him build confidence. New people and environments can be a bit overwhelming at first, but Dacre is absolutely worth the patience. With gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, he warms up beautifully. And once you’re in his circle, you’re in for life. He forms strong bonds and clearly remembers the people who have cared for him, greeting familiar faces with love and recognition. Like any puppy, Dacre is still learning the ropes. He may sneak a chew on something he shouldn’t or investigate the trash if given the chance. Potty training is still a work in progress and will need consistency and patience from his future family. Dacre would do best in a lower-traffic home with adults where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. He’s very food motivated, which will be a huge asset in training and bonding. If you’re looking for a loyal, sensitive pup who will reward your patience with deep connection and love, Dacre is ready to find his person.
