Story
A big, friendly, goofy goofball. That's Snow, the Alaskan Malamute! Snow came to the shelter because his former owner had a change of life circumstances that didn't allow them to provide Snow all the attention and time he deserves. They said he was a great family dog. Snow has lived with respectful children in the past. His former owner said he was very friendly with everyone and that's what we've seen here at the shelter. He has a really pleasant personality and lighthearted-way about him. Snow could potentially live with a resident dog pending a dog meeting here at the shelter to ensure personalities are a match. He has lived with them before. He has never lived with cats. If you're interested in special Snow here, call the shelter at (603)-472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions to schedule an appointment!

Story
Is your dream dog big and hairy, if so we have the dog for you?! Kaya is 120 pounds of fluffy love! This beautiful red 9 year old Malamute came to us when her people lost their home. Looking through the limited paperwork she came with she has had at least 3 homes in her life and now needs a furever home to spend her golden years in. Kaya is a very sweet and sometimes vocal girl, not a surprise with her breed. She has done well with dogs, but can not live with cats. Kaya walks well on the leash and loves car rides so will be a lot of fun to take places! Short walks and lots of couch time will keep this girl very happy! Malamute fans need to come rushing here as this fluff ball will not be here long!! Adoption fee-$100 Due to the strict animal import laws in MA, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Story
Meet our special girl with the perfect Spring name, Daisy!!!Daisy has been through quite a journey with her health. She underwent surgery for aluxating patella and has completed physical therapy. While she has made a remarkable recovery, she still requires ongoing exercises to maintain her strength and mobility. Daisy is currently on daily pain medication to ensure her comfort.Daisy is a goofy girl with an irresistible personality. She loves to engage in full-blownconversations with her humans. Affectionate and loyal, she's like velcro, sticking close to her loved ones. Her love for children knows no bounds, making her an ideal companion for families. Daisy thrives in social settings, eagerly greeting everyone she meets with her warm and friendly demeanor.Daisy is a joy to have around, but she does come with some specific needs. Due to her medical history, she can't go on long walks or hikes, but she's perfectly content to roam off-leash in a secure yard. Daisy is selective with other dogs and tends to guard toys and food, so careful management is necessary if she lives with another canine companion. She does have a high prey drive so small animals and cats would not be good housemates for her. Daisy enjoys lounging and cuddling with her favorite humans. However, she does have a penchant for mischief, especially when left unsupervised. Daisy is crate trained and would do best in one when left alone.Daisy is currently out in foster care, if you are interested in learning more about Daisy, contact our adoption counselors at 603-354-4004 - thank you!
