Story
Looking for a loving home for Rocky. He is very sweet dog and gets along great with my two sons or pretty much anyone. The only reason we are looking for a new home for him is because he requires a lot of attention and time and unfortunately between work school and taking kids to practice we don’t have the time needed to properly care and walk him. Shots are up to date, he uses the bathroom on puppy pads when in the house. He is very energetic and loves to play fetch. Shots are up to date and he is microchipped. Honestly we don’t want to get rid of him but due to our schedules we aren’t able to provide the lifestyle this sweet boy deserves.

Story
I got Yuno as a pup in 2020 and have had the most amazing 6 years with him. Hes full of character and will tell you exactly how he’s feeling. He’s not super vocal like most Huskys are but he will talk back at times. I’m hoping Yuno can find a home with a family that’s patient and attentive that will take him along for adventures and give him the life I couldn’t. Yuno is such a kind and sweet dog , and responds the best to soft and calm voices. He loves to be outside and will explore and sniff for hours. He loves people, i think more than he likes dogs and will almost immediately get on the ground to request belly rubs.

Story
Meet Bella — a 2.5 year old, 42 lb Alaskan Malamute mix with all the classic Malamute charm wrapped into a smaller, stunning package! Quick Facts: Name: Bella Breed: Alaskan Malamute Mix Age: 2.5 years old Weight: 42 lbs. House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: No Good with Kids: Has only met kids 12 and older and has been great! Energy Level: Moderate Fence Required: Yes (secure fence, no gaps to escape through) About Bella’s Breed: Our best guess is that Bella is an Alaskan Malamute mixed breed. The Alaskan Malamute is a strong, affectionate, people‑oriented dog who loves being part of an active family. They thrive in cooler climates with plenty of space to run, and their ideal home is one with a large fenced yard, lots of daily exercise, and humans who enjoy outdoor adventures as much as they do. What to Love about Bella: Bella is independent, cat like, affectionate on her terms, and perfectly content choosing a cozy spot in the same room to lounge while keeping an eye on her people. When she wants love, she’ll come right over for it — and when she’s done, she’ll gracefully retreat to her chosen corner. Bella has a naturally dominant energy, so she’ll do best with a confident owner who can be her clear leader. She’s fun, energetic, and playful without being hyper, and she absolutely loves romping with another playful dog — as long as that dog isn’t also dominant. She’s not aggressive; she just likes to be the boss. She’s also smart, responsive to verbal cues, and well behaved in the home. She doesn’t chew things up, destroys nothing, and settles beautifully inside. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and does well when crated while you’re out. She can resource guard, so she should be fed separately. Bella loves people and has been wonderful with older kids she’s met — she’d likely thrive with respectful, dog savvy children who enjoy playing with her. Because she has a prey drive and has chased squirrels, she’s not a good fit for a home with cats. Bella enjoys zooming around the yard, playing fetch, and would love hikes or outdoor adventures! She needs a secure fenced yard to safely burn off her energy. Grooming-wise, she’s mostly easy — though she may give a little “snippy” protest sound if you brush a sensitive spot. A firm but gentle “no ma’am” works perfectly, and she settles right down. Bella is gorgeous, spirited, loving, and full of personality! For someone who truly appreciates the Alaskan Malamute breed — their independence, their intelligence, their beauty, and their quirks — Bella will be an incredible companion and a loyal adventure buddy! Bella’s Beautiful Highlights: • 2.5 year old, 42 lb Alaskan Malamute • Affectionate on her terms; cat like and content lounging nearby • Fun, energetic, and playful without being hyper • Dominant energy — needs a confident owner who can be her clear leader • Loves playing with other playful dogs but not a match for dominant dogs • Potty trained, crate trained, and well behaved in the home • Can resource guard; should be fed separately • Great with people and older, respectful kids; not good with cats • Needs a secure fenced yard for zoomies, playtime, and safe outdoor fun • Smart, responsive to verbal cues, and an excellent match for true Alaskan Malamute lovers Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Story
*Please reach out to the foster at, zachmurphy206@gmail.com*Nanook is a very friendly, sweet, and gentle dog. He doesn`t appear to know commands, although that could change once he`s recovered from surgery, but he is potty trained. He lets men and women pet him, and shows zero aggression towards people. He`ll eat food gently from your hand, and tenderly lick your fingers after. He hasn`t been tested with other animals because of his surgery. He hasn`t destroyed any furniture or chewed on anything he`s not supposed to. He doesn`t really bark, he`s only let out one quiet raspy howl, and that was to let us know he really wanted to go outside. Nanook would be great for someone with an enclosed backyard... the bigger the better but just really likes to be outside. I could see him hanging out in a smaller backyard too, just sitting on the porch, enjoying nature watching the world go by. Someone that could take him on runs and walks would be ideal, he`s still recovering from surgery but I can tell he`ll want to exercise. Nanook is a 10/10 sweetheart - he is somebody`s forever dog.
