Meet our big Klondike! Klondike is a 10½-year-old Alaskan Malamute weighing over 75 pounds. This big, handsome boy came to us as a stray, so we don’t know anything about his past — but we know he deserves a safe, loving home to spend his golden years. At his age, Klondike is looking for comfort, companionship, and a family who appreciates the loyal, dignified nature of his breed. Malamutes are known for their intelligence and strong presence, and Klondike certainly carries himself like a gentle giant. Klondike is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested, so he’s ready to head home. He would benefit from a patient adopter who understands larger breeds and is willing to give him time to settle in and show his true personality. If you have room in your heart and home for a senior sweetheart, Klondike may be the perfect companion to share your days.

Nala is a loving, affectionate girl who thrives on human companionship. She’s full of energy and would be happiest with an active family or individual who enjoys outdoor time and play. Nala loves being outside and soaking up the sun, so a securely fenced yard is a must to keep her safe. Nala lives peacefully with a dog and a cat, but because her behavior around new animals is unknown, slow introductions are recommended. She should be fed separately, as she does best when other animals aren’t around during mealtimes. She is fully potty trained, though she has some difficulty holding her bladder for longer than two hours. Using a kennel when she’s alone helps keep her comfortable and secure If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who will bring lots of joy into your life, Nala could be the perfect match.
