Story
Appa is a Malamute, please do some research on this breed! My daughter went off to college and her mom lost her home, so I got stuck with this guy. I got a new job that is out of town and I work 48 hour shift so I can no longer keep this guy. He has been living in my mud room and has full access to outside. He has never tried to dig out underneath the fence to escape.

Story
Meet Koda - The Fluffy Drama King with a Heart (and Eyes) of Ice Blue Koda might look like he stepped off the cover of Arctic Dog Monthly, but don't let those gorgeous looks and piercing blue eyes fool you - this guy is equal parts majestic snow dog and hilarious goofball.  Surrendered by his previous family for being "too energetic" (translation: he acted like a normal husky puppy), Koda was heartbreakingly scheduled for euthanasia before the vet got a hold of us. Now he's living life like he means it - and he's looking for the kind of family who understands that smart, stubborn, and sassy can also mean perfect, with the right match.  Koda's Greatest Hits: - Striking husky/malamute good looks that turn heads wherever he goes - Bright blue eyes that say "I'm plotting something" (spoiler: it's usually adorable)  - Plays a mean game of keep-away (he's undefeated and proud of it)  - LOVES other dogs - all shapes and sizes - and would thrive with a dog buddy - Sniff walks, snow zoomies, and chasing leaves are his idea of a good time - Will absolutely argue with you, but - he doesn't scream like a typical husky! He has plenty of opinions, but shares them in a respectful, inside-voice kind of way  What Koda Needs in His Forever Home: - Another friendly, playful dog to keep him company - A fenced yard for zooms, mischief, and lounging - Someone with northern breed experience (or a good sense of humor and decent cardio) - A calm, patient adopter who can appreciate his selective hearing skills - Bonus if you think a little stubbornness is just part of the charm If you've got the time, the toys, and a sense of adventure, Koda is ready to bring you laughter, loyalty, and a whole lot of fluff. Just don't challenge him to keep-away unless you're ready to lose.  Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
