Story
Leia is a 4 year old Alaskan Malamute/Husky. She is approximately 45 pounds and is a sweet and energetic girl. She was adopted from Humane, a shelter in Berks County, PA. She is snuggly, loving, playful, and loves to run and enjoys the outdoors, especially cold weather. She takes a little bit to warm up but deeply loves her people. She also enjoys playing with other dogs but can be overwhelming to other dogs due to her high energy. In a new home she will be looking for someone to take her for many walks, or have land that she can run around as much as her heart desires. She would benefit from someone with patience who is willing to work with her. Good fencing is recommended as she can jump high!

Story
We are looking to rehome our 5 year old alaskan malamute Aurora. She gets along with our other dog and cat, but not sure how well she'll do with other animals. She has bitten our previous male puggle mix. She should to go a home with no small children. We are looking to rehome her because she has become aggressive with our 2 year old child. She never bit any one besides our child and has never shown aggression towards adults or older children. Has shown aggression toward small children under 5. If you have questions please feel free to ask.

Story
Very dashing and handsome. Good match to an outdoor enthusiast or someone who likes to run and hike. Has a fantastic sense of humor. He makes me laugh all the time. He loves tummy rubs and playing fetch with a ball. Very playful. He loves to go places, and wants to be your best friend. He is highly responsive and wants to learn. Licorice is energetic and loves to run but he’s not hyper. He’s happy to lay around once he gets exercised. Trained as a sled dog in Alaska, he knows voice commands gee and haw for left and right, stop, gentle, and Give commands. He needs leash training and indoor training. He learns quickly and he is eager to please his owner. He has been an outside dog but would be happy to be inside with his humans. He has a strong prey instinct, so I would not recommend small pets, chickens or rabbits in the same household. He needs to be fenced or tied if outside. Full name: Licorice Licky Lickerson, Mr. Lickerson

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   If you would like to take me home please complete a Pet Adoption Application   This very sweet girl will thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures.! Zoey is a beautiful Norwegian Elkhound / Siberian Husky mix with a gentle heart and a bright future ahead. She and her brother were sadly abandoned and left in the care of a kind roommate who travels cross-country for work. He made sure both pups were vaccinated and safe, then reached out to us for help finding them the loving homes they deserve.   Zoey’s brother has already been adopted — now it’s her turn.   Zoey is a shy but very sweet girl who blossoms with patience and kindness. She does well walking on leash alongside other dogs, but she can feel timid and overwhelmed in busy or enclosed dog-to-dog situations. With a calm introduction and a little confidence-building, she continues to make great progress.   Because of her Elkhound and Husky heritage, Zoey will thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. She’s ready to trade her uncertain past for a life filled with love, structure, and fun — and she can’t wait to meet the people who will call her their own.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  January 12, 2026, 10:11 pm
