Story
Bear is so very sweet and special. Ive had him since he was 5 wks. I saw him in front of a tractor supply where a woman was selling 2 wolf puppies for $1000 each. They were filthy, malnourished and looked very weak. I told her they were sick and offered her $500 for both. One died within hours and the other little one made it and has been a great boy ever since. Unfortunately, I have become ill and no longer can care for him as I once had. He loves walks, swimming in the lakes, retrieving balls and sticks and long hikes. His favorites are belly rubs and head rubs. He does NOT like other dogs, so dog parks have not been our thing. He also is scared of gunfire, fireworks and trains. I think he would do best with a female hybrid like himself and definitely needs a strong handler, physically and Mentally to be his new person. He wont do well left alone for long periods of time and hes not an outdoor dog... that is my fault, I spoiled him. Bear deserves a special family.

Story
Griffin is a big love bug! When he meets you he will give you a big bear hug so be prepared to embrace his 140 lbs of fluff! Griffin keeps getting overlooked because of his size but he is the friendliest dog in the rescue. Griffin is a velcro dog and will spend every minute of his time with his human. Griffin tolerates female dogs of equal size but does not like male dogs or small dogs. While Griffin loves children, he doesn't understand how big he is. Just his wagging tail can knock over a small child! Griffin has never been tested with cats or livestock but I wouldn't recommend it. Griffin is very smart and ready for human companion to love him.
