Story
Description Zeus is a strawberry/tan and white, middle-aged, purebred husky with very long hair. He is Personality Zeus is a very loving dog with such an amazing caring soul. He is a sweet boy who knows some tricks and loves to cuddle. Zeus want to be rubbed and talked to and he will talk back. He will engage in play with you and other dogs whenever the opportunity arises. He's loyal and protective. He is a little timid at first with new strangers, but after he gets to know you he's your best friend forever. People don’t stay strangers to him for very long, before he claims you as one of his pack. Potty trained, crate trained, and not bad on a leash. Well socialized and good with other dogs. Background Zeus was surrendered to GNAR with Thor, another long haired Husky, by their original owner who fell on hard times. She lost her job, and could no longer afford to take care of them. She had to move out and move into a house with friends who don’t allow dogs. She didn’t want to take them to a shelter where she wouldn’t know their fate. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at GNARHouston@gmail.com to arrange a visit at my foster home or local Petsmart!

Story
According to Wikipedia “a ninja or Shinobi was a covert agent…the functions of a ninja include siege and infiltration, ambush, reconnaissance…” etc. Our boy Shinobi perfectly meets all these qualifications, but still seems to come across as a goofball. You can tell he’s very intelligent, but he only wants to use his above listed skills in regards to scoping out and earning treats. He’s very unserious and happy go lucky otherwise! He’s playful at first and loves to stretch his legs.He also loves it if you sit by his side and pet him. He’s happy to give kisses in return. He’s very friendly and sweet. Shinobi can sit on command for a treat and takes them from you like a total gentleman. He’s also very well-mannered on leash. His “covert agent” skills could use a little brushing up on. He’s got a lot to say and likes to sing the song of his people. From a previous foster home we learned that Shinobi is both housebroken and great with other dogs. He’s typically very laidback and snuggly, but he may not be his best self around cats.
