Story
Meet Gemma Gemma is a 4 year old Malamute mix with a gentle heart and quiet strength. She came from Harris County and we believe she spent a long time surviving on her own. Because of that, she is still learning how good it feels to feel safe, loved, and secure. Gemma weighs 63lbs and is full grown. She is incredibly loyal, sweet, and deeply people focused. She is very smart, learns quickly, and takes direction well. Once she feels settled, she naturally looks to her person for guidance and connection. She does need time to properly decompress in new environments and thrives with routine and consistency. Her kennel is her safe space, and she finds comfort in structure. She is currently around other dogs and does well with proper introductions; however, she needs proper introductions with unknown dogs so needs a firm owner that will provide basic obedience training. Gemma is sweet girl and with time will become a dog rockstar. Will transport pet out of Houston for good home.
