Story
Hello! I’m Sam. Your resident couch potato.I am a 7-year-old Alaskan Malamute Mix who has been living at Kindness Ranch since 2022. In fact, I am coming up on my 2-year anniversary of living at Kindness Ranch. And although I enjoy living here, I am crossing my paws that I don’t have to celebrate a 2-year anniversary… because I will have found my forever home!I am your all-around good boy, which you can probably tell from my pictures. I love people. I love animals - in fact, I used to live with a bunch of cats and a raccoon. Yes, you read that right, a raccoon. The only thing I don’t get excited about is overly intrusive dogs. I also LOVE playing in the snow! It would be a super cool bonus if my forever home was somewhere that had snow in the winter. Snow all year long would be awesome!I don’t require much activity, and actually prefer to lay on the couch for most of the time; however, I am on a diet so regular exercise would be good for me. I am also on thyroid medication and will need a commitment from my new family that they will continue my diet plan as well as the medication that I am on. So, what do you think? Do I sound like I would be a good fit for your family? I hope so… because again, as much as I love the sanctuary, I am hoping that I do not have to celebrate a 2-year anniversary here. Ideally, I’d be celebrating my next birthday with you!

Story
Ellie is a super energetic dog and due to work can’t fulfill her needs to get out and be active. She listens to basic commands and knows her name super well. We got her locally in Cheyenne and up until recently schedule changes have affected our ability to give her the attention she needs. A great dog but deserves someone who can come home everyday to her and not have to constantly be boards days-weeks on end
