American Bobtail kittens & cats in Wagoner, Oklahoma

My mother had to be re-homed, so now, too, does the cat. (We can either laugh or we can cry. I chose laughter.)5 year-old Jessie is a sweetheart of a girl. She has always been in a single-cat home so we don't know how she would behave around other animals, but we do know that she likes people. She is shy upon a first meeting, but once she loves you, she loves you, and she let's you know with her little nudges, meows and purrs. Her life has not been easy as my mom has alzhimers. As the disease worsened, so did my mother's treatment of Jessie. The entire situation has broken our hearts in a million different ways. I can happily say, though, that after 2 weeks of separation from my mom, Jessie is back to the girl we used to know. Bolder. More present. Playful. My brother travels for work and my children are allergic. We would be so relieved for her to find a new home!
