Meet Sage – A Young Mama with a Heart of Gold   Sage’s story began with a rough start—she was sadly dumped and abandoned. Luckily, she was rescued just in time to bring four sweet kittens into the world in the safety of a loving foster home. Although barely more than a kitten herself, Sage has spent the last eight weeks being an incredibly devoted and gentle mother.   Now that all of her babies have found their forever families, it’s Sage’s turn to be the cherished one.   This playful, affectionate girl loves batting at toys and curling up for cuddle time with her humans. She has also been living in a foster home with other cats and dogs and gets along wonderfully with everyone. Sage’s calm and friendly nature makes her the perfect companion whether you’re looking for a snuggle buddy or a playful friend for your other pets.   Sage has already shown what a loving heart she has—now she’s ready to share it with a family who will love her just as much. Ms. Cinnamon is becoming more confident by the day. It's been a treasure to see her come into her own here at the shelter but we are anxious to see her in a home. We fear that Ms. Cinnamon is being overlooked due to her coat color - and hope to show her humble but fearless personality in more and more photos. It was a challenge at first to get her to look up at the camera however it's become easier as she looks at us quizzically wondering why we keep stepping back from her gently rubbing her head on our boots. It's clear that Ms. Cinnamon wants a person to call her own. Someone she knows will be in her corner always. :) She was an outdoor girl for some time - and is still getting used to the concept of a bed and toys.
