Story
Millie is a bobtail standard issue cat born during the covid lockdown and has 4 other littermates and a few older brothers and sisters. She is a cuddler she will watch you work and once you settle down to read, watch a show or doomscroll she will come to join you. She is curious and likes toys like string and small thinks to catch. She has spent a lot of time in an apartment with other cats without human supervision. A regular small breakfast and small dinner keeps her fit and predictable. The carrier is tolerated and she has made a few large trips. Catnip works well and a small hint of it can help train her. She is adventurous and a bit of an explorer. She is very healthy and low maintenance.

Story
Ozzie and Donnie are Void bobtail brothers. Ozzie is a bit older by about 6 months but he and Donnie are close. They have lived with 5 other cats and have older brothers and sisters. Ozzie is named after the rock and roll prince of darkness since he is in the middle of a few litters and his VERY dark coat. Donnie was named after my favorite ninja turtle Donatello due to his all black garb, tenancy to get stuck on his back, and general tinkering around. They enjoy chasing ice skittering across the floor and loose string. They are a bit of a bonded pair and really would be best if they could stay together. They have spent alot of time without human supervision. They like to go inside and outside and are used to a routine. They are accustomed to eating before I leave for work and again when i return.

Story
🐇 Peter Rabbit 🤍🩶 Have you ever seen a bunny disguised as a cat? Meet Peter Rabbit! With his adorable little bobtail, handsome tabby-and-white coat, and sweet personality, he’s impossible not to fall in love with. His missing tail is usually the very first thing people notice—but it’s his gentle heart that they’ll remember. Peter is the perfect mix of playful goofball and cozy cuddle buddy. One minute he’s racing through the house with the zoomies or batting crinkle balls across the floor, and the next he’s curled up on your legs, happily snoozing the afternoon away. If you sit down nearby, don’t be surprised if he flops over and rolls around just to be close to you. He’ll even pretend he doesn’t enjoy belly rubs… right before coming back for more! While Peter can be a little shy when meeting new people, he doesn’t stay hidden forever. Given a little patience and a calm environment, his curiosity wins out, and before long you’ll find him quietly investigating his new friends. Once he feels safe, he’s an affectionate, easygoing companion who loves pets, enjoys sleeping with his people, and likes being part of whatever you’re doing. Peter absolutely adores other cats and would thrive in a home with a playful feline friend. His dream would be being adopted with his brother, Boston, or one of his sweet sisters, but he’d also be happy joining a family with another friendly young cat. He’s also lived happily with large German Shepherds and thinks dogs make pretty great friends, too! He’s done well with children, especially when they understand that everyone appreciates a little quiet time now and then. Whether he’s lounging in a sunny window, chasing a wand toy, scratching away on his favorite cardboard scratcher, or eagerly waiting for his wet food (or a Churu treat!), Peter brings a calm, happy presence wherever he goes. Peter’s biggest request is simple: give him a little time. He came into foster care feeling unsure of the world, and while he’s grown into such a wonderful young cat, he’ll appreciate a family who lets him settle in at his own pace. Your patience will be rewarded with a goofy, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be nearby—and maybe asleep on your legs. If you’re looking for a playful best friend with an adorable bobtail, a heart full of love, and just the right amount of bunny energy, Peter Rabbit is ready to hop into your life.

Story
HEARTWARMING RESCUE STORY DOB 8/26/22 Hey there, everyone! I'm Lollis, a very affectionate, delightful, playful “torbie” gal which means that I'm a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I can't get enough time to spend with Foster Meowmy, so I sleep with her and am always asking her for cuddles, especially when I don't have to compete with the resident cats for her attention. Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs, other cats, and kids in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for those same kids. I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. Yes, our special connection began on that unforgettable journey. To this day, in those cherished moments when I need a little snuggle, it’s Foster Meowmy to whom I turn when I seek cuddling. I hope that my heartwarming rescue story has touched your heart. Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it's time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let's form a bond that's unbreakable! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your family heirlooms. HOPE ID 23-1014-A047 Lollis is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
SWEET MOMMA DOB 5/1/23 Ms Ethel is a sweet mittened torbie who, although she prefers not to be picked up, will come over to you for petting and snuggling. Ms Ethel is a stately kitty who is independent and can go hours on end without needing humans. She's simply a low-maintenance kind of gal. Ms Ethel was brought into HOPE when an elderly couple found her and her newborn babies in their backyard. Completely soaked and very hungry, the kitties needed immediate help. A foster stepped up and took in the forlorn family. Fast forward months later, and all the kitties have been adopted with only Momma left. Can Ms Ethel bring her sweet, undemanding ways to take the bite out of your being alone? Or bring some quiet companionship after your long, hectic day at the office? If so, arrange to meet her so you can give her some much-appreciated scratches and snuggles. Just because she’s independent of humans doesn’t mean that she doesn't have something to give others. In fact, she has so much love to give – all she needs is YOU! HOPE ID 24-0515-G124 Ms Ethel is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
