Story
Never thought I would be in this position in my life but sooll have no where I can keep my son (waffles) I love him and he is a great cat, I named him waffles cause he ate anything I put infront of him and that he was fluffy haha. I feed him on a scheduled diet as he will eat EVERYTHING. he’s special to me and I’ve grown a strong bond with him, I’ve taught him a few tricks like shaking hands or high fives and jumping through hoops, he’s really smart but also needy for love, he’ll let you know when he wants to be pet. He had a older brother that he grew up with and then a lil sister but needs a little time adjusting to new cats. I’ve spent the years taking them on road trips, since he was a baby I brought him everywhere so he loved to sit in my lap while I drove. Not once has he ever bitten or scratched me or anyone. He’s an al around good and funny cat and it breaks my heart that I can’t keep him, if only I had another year, I could make things work but time isn’t on my side.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
A super sweet boy who would do best in a home without other animals or small children. While he has lived with other cats, a small dog, and young children for most of his life, he would truly thrive as an only fur child. He still has the energy of a kitten! He is very playful and hasn’t slowed down one bit. When he’s not playing or watching birds from the window, he loves to cuddle and will happily curl up in your lap or on your chest. He enjoys being pet and showered with affection. Like many cats, he can become overstimulated and may swat or nip if he is uncomfortable, nervous, or doesn't want to be touched; especially if faces are too close. An experienced, cat-savvy home would be ideal. He has been an indoor cat his whole life but shows great interest in the outdoors and enjoys safely exploring the yard or going on short adventures in a cat backpack or carrier. He would make a wonderful companion and has so much love to give to the right home.

I took Sophia in as a foster and am in search of her forever home. She cannot stay with me and my cats and would do best as an only pet or with someone who has experience introducing animals. She loves cuddles and pets, laser pointers and scratch boards, and tuna.

Story
This is Orbit, a 7-month-old tabby kitten with soft stripes and an even softer soul. Orbit is a shy little guy who’s still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. He may take some time to come out of his shell, but with patience and kindness, he’ll reward you with quiet affection and gentle companionship. Orbit is looking for a calm, peaceful home where he can grow at his own pace. He would do best in a quieter environment—perhaps with just one calm feline friend or as a solo kitty where he can get all the love and attention he needs to feel secure. He also does well with older, respectful children who understand that shy kittens need a little extra space and time to build trust. Once he feels safe, Orbit enjoys cozy nap spots, soft blankets, and gentle pets. He’s not the boldest kitten on the block, but he has a heart full of love just waiting for the right person to unlock it. If you have a quiet home and a patient heart, Orbit might be your perfect match. Come meet this sweet boy and help him discover how good life can be. Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Orbit is currently 7 months, neutered and microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and in great health! He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Orbit is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, or the Pacific Northwest or locations along this route. ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you for your contribution to our efforts! Story
New intake alert!!! Meet Totoro -- this lovable fuzzball wants to be your new best friends!! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Totoro and his Studio Ghibli foster siblings (Susuwatari and Howl Jenkins Pendragon, also adoptable!) are an adorable trio who were rescued from a trap-neuter-return event before they could be released back into the wild. We just knew they HAD to be indoor kitties, and they are loving it They have adjusted very quickly to the good life indoors and are ready for a home of their own! The Studio Ghibli kittens are new to our foster program and we are still getting to know their personalities, but so far we're in love. We will update their bios soon with even more info! Just like his cartoon namesake, Totoro is full of gentle love. He is still a little nervous when meeting new people, but he's learning to feel safe and absolutely loves to fall asleep in his foster mom's arms. His big eyes look a little concerned in pics (he's a cautious fella), but he melts when he gets his butt scritchies and snugs. These boys love to explore, wrestle, climb, and cuddle up together. They are a constant source of entertainment and will bring a smile to their new family’s faces! Totoro is ~3 months old, in great health, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litter box tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. He's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend. Adopt Totoro and maybe one (or two!) of his adorable foster siblings, and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun. Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Totoro, Susuwatari, and Howl Jenkins Pendragon are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home.
