Story
Oh.. Hello. My name is Riley. I haven't been at the shelter very long and my birthday is December 24th. I came to the shelter as a puppy. Just look at my happy, smiling face! I'm a big guy that's super shy, but boy do I love treats. If you give me time to trust you, I'll happily wag my tail and bark for your attention (those treats help convince me). I really would love a sweet family! Paws crossed that all of my dreams come true.

Story
Howdy there, my name is Willie! (I've been trained by a certified dog trainer, ask her any questions about me) You may have heard some of story if you read about my brother Nelson, but I am special enough for you to hear it again. My brother and I were dumped by our previous owners. We were abandoned at the end of the road when a kind family found us. They brought us home in late June 2023 and got us back healthy. Since our family left us alone for so long we were severely underweight and covered in fleas and mange when the nice family found us. My brother and I were named after the one and only Willie Nelson, so were pretty much superstars around here, but we dont let the fame get to our heads too much. When we first got to Summits we were extremely attached, because my brother and I are two peas in a pod. For a long time he was the only one who had my back, but now I have a ton of friends, some fur and some human! I am a little scared and shy at first, but I love to be around people, and if you scratch my ears we will be friends for life! I am as handsome and sweet as they come, but I am a dog who takes a little longer to warm up than others, but I promise I will and I am so worth the wait! I may not be tiny but I sure like to think I am a lap dog. I love hugs and cuddles and my friends at Summits say I give the best in the world! Some people think pit bulls are scary, but Im just a big lover and I cant wait to see how my life unfolds. I am vaccinated, neutered, on flea/tick prevention, and fully house broken. I cant wait to spend all our days and nights cuddled up on the couch. Will you give me a chance? I promise Ill love you FUR-EVER! Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Fixed, Microchipped & Up to Date on Vaccines Please visit our website www.summitssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

She has good manners and a happy demeanor. Got little ones? That's great! Moxie is sweet and gentle with kids, including toddlers. Story
This beefy bubba is the very best boy! No need to worry about his bonus size, this gentle giant has excellent manners already - leash trained on a no-pull harness, housetrained, and knows his sit and down commands. For your entertainment, he is a master at catching treats! For his entertainment, he asks you get him the biggest toys you can find (horse toys could be just right!) - otherwise he will make everything into a toy. He and his super-sized toys must have a yard and that yard needs a solid, strong privacy fence.   REQUIRED: He is a strong boy who needs things to do or he will find things to do. No kids or folks with mobility issues. Strong, solid privacy fenced yard. And while, yeah, we could have photoshopped the drool out of his pictures, let's be honest...when Herc goes home, his drool is coming with him.    ~  Est DOB: Aug 2019~  Est weight:  100# +~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm
