We know that Christmas is over, but we’ve got a pup who still has plenty of joy and festive cheer to share! Mrs. Claus is an exceptionally affectionate, laid-back lovebug who is hoping for a home where she can share the spirit of the cheerful season all year round!Her volunteer friends love spending time with her- here’s what they’ve said:“Mrs. Claus was calm and easy to leash up. Once in the play yard she was calm and affectionate. She tolerated her rather rambunctious kennelmate’s antics with patience and she just wanted to snuggle with me! She`s an easygoing, SUPER-DUPER sweet little nugget!” “This was my first time walking Mrs. Claus and I’m in love! She is the cutest little meatball with the smooshiest face. She has the cutest bouncy trot with a constantly wagging tail. She’s extremely treat-motivated and sits nicely for treats without being asked. I sat down on a bench and started scratching behind her ears, which she loved. She rested her chin on my knee and snorted/snored in the cutest way. I would have loved to sit with her all day - she’s definitely one of my new favorites.”“Mrs. Claus went to the Bluegrass Festival and she roicked it!! She loaded right up for the ride to the festival, preferring to be on the seat next to you curled up. At the festival, she met the public, was relaxed with all the dogs walking around (even another female PACC fosterthat sat close) and just wanted to be in your lap. Very attentive and smart. She won the hearts of all who met her!”During a short stay in foster Mrs. Claus did well with kids, was a quiet houseguest, and was working on crate training. Her foster described her as a very friendly gal.Mrs. Claus shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any potential furry roommates before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate dog who can take all the love you have to give, come meet sweet girl Mrs. Claus today!

Owen is a super sweet, calm, affectionate middle-aged boy who is looking for his forever home. He has valley fever and a bit of arthritis, so is looking to relax his days away with a family who won’t expect him to run any marathons (unless they’re the Netflix kind). Owen spent about a month in a foster home- here’s what his foster said:“Owen is an absolute gem! He’s gentle and loving, but he`s also a perfect houseguest. He`s polite in taking treats and he does fine home alone free range. He has shown interest in other dogs and cats but hasn`t been reactive. He likes to chase lizards and will boop you when he wants attention. He does great on a leash, and he loves to sleep in late. He is just pure perfection!”On a day trip away from the shelter Owen also showed what a very good boy he is and was described as a lovebug, a chill guy, and a big marshmallow.“Owen saw chickens and ducks behind a fence and was non-reactive. Very big cuddle bug; wants your love and attention. Enjoys sleeping in and booty scritches! Very good on the leash and loves to sniff everything. Truly such a gentle giant with the biggest heart!”Volunteers at the shelter adore Owen too- here’s what some of his fans have said:“I walked Owen for the first time and what a sweet boy! Extremely easy to leash, non- reactive, and he was amazing on the leash. Overall, a sweet and gentle boy!”“Owen was perfect on our walk today. He sniffed, did not pull, and was so happy to stop for pets and treats. He didn’t react at all to the dogs barking at him on the way out or coming back. Such a sweet, calm, and loving boy!”Owen has shared his kennel politely and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet this perfect pup today!!
