Story
Pancho is three years ols and a sweetheart. He knows all his commands and is potty trained. He walks well on a leash with a frontlead harness. He absolutely loves the outdoors and water and is an A-class runner. He’s good with people he knows and loyal and loving to his family. He gets along with dogs that are playful in temperament but he’s a little insecure so very dominant personalities are to be avoided. He is a little possessive when it comes to food and special treats like bones and this can result in an issue if the other dog does not back off. He has been raised in a home with cats and multiple dogs and an older child (currently 12). He is a little too large energetic for young children but he is not aggressive towards them. We find ourselves in the painful position of rehoming due to a personality conflict with one of our other dogs.

Story
Jade is a loving dog, she enjoys playing with her ropes and balls. She loves playing with water hoses and will lounge around if you let her. She loves spending her time in the sun and running around. She is a great running dog and would love some children to play with. She was handed to me by a "friend" who informed me they will not be returning to get her.

Story
Sylvester Stallone fans will recall fondly the Army Special Forces veteran who used his superior military skills to fight corrupt cops, enemy troops, and drug cartels. Well, our Rambo doesn`t have a thing in common with his namesake aside from his name and his ability to survive in the wild, so don`t go thinking this sweet guy is some lone wolf commando. Nope, he’s looking to be part of a family!Rambo was a long stay resident at the shelter before being adopted in early 2023 and has found himself back with us once again and in need of a new family. Rambo was reportedly housebroken in his most recent home and was described as a couch potato who is affectionate with his trusted people and enjoys car rides. Rambo is a sensitive boy who needs time to warm up to new people, but once he does, you have a friend for life! Here’s what some of Rambo’s volunteer pals have said about him:“Mastiff and Bullmastiff lovers take a look at Rambo! I just love this big ole blockhead! It takes a bit of time for him to warm up, but once he does, he loves pets and attention. He will make a wonderful companion for a home that appreciates a big strong dog. Come meet Rambo today! You won’t regret it!”“Once he knows a person, Rambo is such a loving dog who is friendly and affectionate. Rambo has a sweet playful side and he likes to run around in the play yard doing zoomies.”`Rambo is a strong and sweet pup who loves toys. He`s very well-behaved in his kennel and loves squeaky toys- he can often be found squeaking away in his kennel!`“Rambo is a soft-spoken stoic kind of guy. The more time I have spent with him the more I see little glimpses of the sweet boy inside. Sometimes he runs and jumps with a spark of play. I have been able to get him to run and do some zoomies but it takes time to see this side of him. Otherwise, he is quiet and stoic which is probably why he has been overlooked. He needs a quiet patient home that will let him open up on his terms as he learns all the dog things he`s missed throughout his life.”Rambo shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Rambo would love to find a home with a person or people who will go slow and give him time to get comfortable in his new home and who will provide a safe, secure yard for him. He’s a very sweet boy who just needs time to feel safe and get to know new friends. Ask to meet Rambo today!

Story
Looking for a snuggle superstar who loves cozy naps and gentle cuddles? Say hello to Bia, a lovable gal who’s ready to fill your home with endless warmth and affection!Bia is the queen of relaxation and the ultimate “lazy potato” with a soft spot for short, leisurely walks. With her cropped ears and adorable gray coat, she might remind you of a sweet, gentle hippo.Don’t let her tough-girl appearance fool you; Bia is the softest, sweetest snuggle bug you could ever meet. There’s not a mean bone in the body of this lovable baby. Her favorite pastime? Curling up in her super cozy bed and snoozing near her “person.” Bia’s got all the good stuff: she’s house-trained (not a single accident in sight!) and is crate-trained (mostly…with a little treat encouragement). In just a few days, she learned “sit,” “place,” and “crate” like a champ. She’s also a pro at bath time and enjoys chewing on hard plastic bones before bed. When it’s mealtime, she’ll wiggle her whole butt with excitement—talk about heart-melting!In her foster home, Bia lives with a chicken and two cats. She’s polite and has shown little interest in the chicken. Her foster mom is working on a slow introduction with the cats, so for now Bia only sees the cats through a baby gate. Sometimes she’s a bit too curious with the cats and comes on “strong,” so a slow, cautious introduction may be best if you have cats. Bia’s even been to work with her foster mom at a veterinary office where she was a calm, relaxed presence around other dogs, mostly preferring to nap behind the desk.Bia’s dream home? One where she can snuggle up at your feet for hours and be your shadow most of the day. She might enjoy the company of other dogs too, though she hasn’t had the chance to make new furry friends in her foster home yet. If you’re ready to welcome the sweetest, most loving snuggle buddy into your life, Bia is ready to be your new best friend! Contact us to meet this adorable love bug and see for yourself why she’s the perfect addition to your family!

Story
Amor is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle. She loves to go on walks, hikes, car rides, bike rides, and camping trips. Amor is potty trained, leash trained, bark trained, comes when called and understands a large vocabulary. For example, she’ll move out of the way if say “excuse me”. She can also communicate by pressing buttons (she has 17 in use so far and there are many more that can be customized as you wish), which makes it easier to understand her needs (like “potty” for example). She has graduated from Rattlesnake Avoidance Training and has received professional training through Bark Busters valued at $2,000. She needs a gentle introduction to other dogs (large open space, neutral territory). She has never bitten another dog or human but sometimes can set assertive boundaries by pinning down the other dog and growling. Amor would do well in a loving home without other cats or dogs where she has open space to explore freely and receive lots of human affection.
