** I am currently being housed at our New York Avenue location. Come meet me at 1201 New York Avenue NE, every day from 12pm-7pm. Please arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. to allow ample time to interact with adoptable dogs. Or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more. We have to say this about Harmony. She has amazing eyes! One look from this very sweet miss and you will be hooked! Harmony is very pretty, and her gazes will warm your heart. Harmony arrived at the shelter when her owner became homeless. It was sad for all, but we are certain Harmony will be adopted fast as she is a loveable doggie. She likes to lean on people when getting affection. Her gentle tail wag is so charming! Ready to meet the alluring Harmony? She is getting all glammed up for you!

We are just saddened and baffled when folks just abandon their pets! Poor Cheyenne was found tied to a pole on a dark and chilly evening. She was so scared! Kind people alerted us to her sad situation. Once Cheyenne got settled here, well she just bloomed! She greets everyone with a happy smile and a gleeful tail wag. It did take her a while to get her confidence back, but she did it! Cheyenne is a young, happy gal who would love to be adopted by folks that will give her a chance to settle in. She will reward you with sweet puppy dog eyes and loyalty. Please meet this beautiful, sweet pup today! She is WONDERFUL!
