Story
King is a 93lb American Bulldog that loves treats, butt pets, and snoring on the couch. He's crate and house-trained but does have a little bit of anxiety. As long as he's not near the trash and distracted by a treat or two when I leave, he'll stay snoring on the couch. He's not a big fan of cats, squirrels, and dogs that are larger than him or that he cannot dominate. He loves road trips (though his farts are stinky if he's sitting in the backseat for too long). His overall health is great, but he does have allergy medicine he needs from time to time, which depending on the reaction includes a medicated shampoo. He also uses eye cream to moisturize his eyes. Some things we are still working on walking through busy public environments. While he has done great at doggie daycares and even living with another dog, while on a leash he is still learning how to greet others and not jump. He would really benefit from a backyard or open space - a family -- he LOVES kids.

Story
Male, ~1.5 years old, ~59 lbs. Approximate Age: ~1.5 years old   Approximate Weight/Size:    Large   Good with: Dogs, Cats   Not tested with: Kids   Hi, I'm Gabriel! I am a lovable pup who has had a rough start to life. As you can see, I only have one eye, but that doesn't slow me down! I'm a very gentle pup and can be a little shy when meeting new people. I'm good with other dogs and I do okay with a cat friend in my forever home (after a slow/proper introduction).   While I don't have any formal training, I'm super smart and already adjusting to living in a home. After 6 months in the shelter, I love the creature comforts of being a house dog. I naturally have decent leash skills, I haven't had any accidents in the house, I am fairly quiet (only bark when strangers are at the door), and am content to snooze on my dog bed with the occasional check-in for pets while you are home. I am working on crate training and while I am happy to eat my meals inside and can sleep through the night, I don't love being left alone just yet. I like to have eyes on my people ad I'm learning to be confident on my own.    I do know my name and just learned how to sit! I'm very social, so I'm learning how to pass other dogs politely on walks but do not have a mean bone in my body. I'd love to be with someone who is familiar with bully breeds and ready to set me up for success with continued training and proper socialization.    I can't wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give!   Adoption Application: http://bit.ly/adoptrd r My adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter Surgery (unless I'm too to young!) Overall wellness exam Current on all core vaccines (including DHPP & rabies) Microchip Current on flea & tick and heartworm preventatives   Interested in adopting a rescue dog? Story
I rescued him from the humane society and he has been a joy in our home! Unfortunately we no longer have the time for him so that’s why he’s being rehomed. He’s great with children as you see I have toddlers and teens he’s great with them as well. He’s extremely playful, literally all bark no bite lol I call him a big teddy bear. He’s mostly house trained just need a bit more training yet again which we don’t have time for. He’s perfect for anybody that has the time, energy & caring spirit.

Story
Female, ~13 months old, ~43 lbs. Approximate Age: ~13 months old   Approximate Weight/Size:   Medium   Good with: Dogs   Not tested with: Cats, Kids   Hi, I'm Tizzy! I'm a loving pup who has had a rough start to life. I was bred nonstop the past year of my life and I am ready for a family who will let me live my own life and show me the TLC I deserve. I am sweet and social but will need a patient family who will help me gain my confidence. I am an absolute sweetheart who is always in your lap and I can always find unique ways to snuggle with my humans. Beyond being a loving cuddlebug, I am a couch potato who is always eager to please. I am looking for a family who can help me gain confidence, however, as I can have separation anxiety when my favorite people aren't around. I'm making huge strides with my foster family, however, and I'm sure with time and patience I will feel confident when I'm on my own. I love going on walks and I get zoomies at least once a day. I love exploring my surroundings and while I like having outlets for my energy, once I've gone on a walk or to the dog park, I know how to chill. I deserve a better life than I've had and I can't wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give!   Adoption Application: http://bit.ly/adoptrdr My adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter Surgery (unless I'm too to young!)
