Story

Rocky is a 5-year-old American Bulldog mix who is up to date on all of his vaccinations. We took him in as a favor for a coworker, and he unexpectedly became part of our family. He is fully house-trained, affectionate, and loves belly rubs. He is not destructive around the house, but he does enjoy tearing apart plush toys and other soft, pillow-like items. We are rehoming him because our family is not experienced with dogs, my son is leaving for college, and my husband works long hours, leaving me as Rocky's primary caregiver. We are looking for a loving, experienced owner who understands dogs and can give Rocky the life he deserves. He would thrive in a home where he has room to roam, receives plenty of attention, and spends less time in a crate. This has been a very difficult decision for our family because we truly care about him. Our only goal is to find him a safe, permanent home where he will be loved and treated like a member of the family.

Story

Sherry started out as a foster from the Miami Dade animal shelter. She had heart worm for which she underwent her treatment, anaplasmosis, a litter of puppies that she lost, she was underweight, and had a growth that has since been removed and biopsied. She has been an amazing foster dog, but my situation has changed substantially and I’m unable to now care for her on my own. Ideally I would love to find someone who is work from home or a family or a retired person that has the extra time to be with her. She’s a very easy dog from the standpoint that she’s house trained. She doesn’t walk very far and she’s a couch potato.

Hi, Pepper’s mom here! I adopted pep at the start of covid from a small rescue organization in the Redlands. Pep was found emaciated with 3 of her sisters at the entrance of Everglades National Park, assumed she was dumped as many people tend to do down there. Ever since that day she was my whole world. She’s now 6 years old & we’ve had so many beautiful memories together. Sadly, my living situation has recently changed and i can no longer keep her. Her ideal new home would be with an experienced dog owner who has no other pets or children for the time being as she’s currently in an intensive training program to help with her reactivity in hopes that by the time she finds a new person to love her, she will be in a much better behavioral state. All in all, Pepper LOVES to be cuddled, loves people & she has such a fun personality. She is a chill dog, she loves her walks, she loves sunbathing & just being with people. I hope whoever gets to love her next can see how wonderful she is.
