Chucha is a sweet10 year old senior who came into the Miami-Dade shelter torn up in extremely rough shape with lacerations around her neck and chest and needing urgent medical help. She suffered through several other plights before suffering a heat stroke where thankfully she survived. She received medical help from the veterinarians at the shelter. Thankfully she was pulled by Anything's Pawsible Rescue and is in foster where she is looking forward to a home to spend her golden years in. Chucha is a sweet, sweet senior who is very chill and very loving. I was the senior dog at Miami Dade Animal Services who was at the shelter in May with an embedded collar and open wounds. I kept collapsing and they didn’t know why. A rescue saved me and after receiving the medical care that I needed I am doing so much better health wise. I am a very sweet senior who loves people but I'm not a fan of other dogs so I need to be the only dog in the home and no cats as well. I just want to be the queen of the castle. She also loves baskets, her crate or any small place she can snuggle into. She enjoys playing with toys or chewing on a good bone. She doesn't enjoy walking, but loves to go for wagon and car rides. Her perfect day is spending the day with you! Bellini requires special food, treats and medications for allergies, weight management and anxiety. Her physical activity must be limited. She is a typical stubborn bulldog who had a hard start in life. She requires lots of love and patience, but is the sweetest most loving and dedicated girl. She does well as the only pet, but is tolerant of other dogs as long as they are low energy and don't want her to play with them. She is known to corner cats. She is working on potty training, but did I mention she's stubborn? He was found as a stray in Palm Beach County on October 22nd and wound up at the shelter. Lady Luck Animal Rescue rescued him in early December where he has been thriving in an amazing foster home. NuNu required surgery on his eyes to correct a condition called entropion, which he has since completely healed from. He is a typical bulldog and suffers from allergies, which we have learned to manage. He is living in a home with little girls who love to dress him up and treat him like a Big NuNu pillow! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 He has a big smooshy face that you can’t resist smooching !! There are literally not enough ways to describe what a nice dog NuNu is. We would love for him to go to a home with big kids to love on him. He walks great on a leash, he is NOT currently living with other dogs or cats. He is not reactive to them on walks and can be tested.
