Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My name is Biscuit and I am a white & black american bulldog. I am a spayed female and I am 6 years and 4 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 02/03/2024 due to the fact my owner`s landlord would not allow me to live there. They were my family for 1-3 months. I am used to staying inside during the day and inside during the night. I am potty trained. I am a medium energy dog and I will need an owner with some prior pet owning experience. I am used to staying in crates when I am alone or need to be safely contained. I would do well with simple obedience training to help us bond and for us to learn how to communicate with each other. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home or yard, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally get out a door or escape the yard. I would like a standard height fence to help keep me inside the yard. I can be nervous around some men but do well with most, and I can be good with women. I have not been around children. I can be good with cats and I can be good with dogs. I get very attached to my owners. I`d like to be someone`s side-kick!All dogs are tested for heartworms and given flea preventatives. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Dogs are vaccinated against distemper, rabies, and bordetella, spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
- Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep their bodies and brains busy - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) - Loves going on walks and does best with a harness - Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro recommended) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Black Weight: 87 Age: 1yrs 7mths 3wks

- Friendly boy who will solicit attention once he gets to know you- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) - Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress - May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro recommended) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs.
