Story
Hi! I'm King, the young American bulldog/terrier mix and I am 90% housebroken! I play very well with my big dogs friends; love rope toys and playing fetch. I like to have a bone to chew. I’m fine and calm for summer thunder, but I sometimes spook when I hear the mysterious ice maker or see kitties. I am very gentle with my new big teeth- take treats very gently and not "mouthy" at all to humans. My foster mom taught me "sit" & “look"; we are practicing "heel " daily with progress. If you want to love and snuggle and play then I am the one for you! Hey there Brother, I'm Hulk. Just like who I'm named after I'm just as big and beefy, but don't let that fool you. I'm a huge lover. I love playing with my stuffies, learning new tricks, and most importantly going for walkies. In typical bully fashion I have some allergies that require a little extra TLC but don't let that steer you away! I take my medicine like the gentle giant that I am. I like other dogs but not really a fan of the feline variety. Let's get together and go win another Wrestlmania, Brother! ❤ For more info email adopt@animalrescueneworleans.org________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Zeus was born in our home on November 15, 2019. He loves attention! When we've been out of the house for a bit and get back home he will jump up and wrap his paws around your waist to hug you. He is an inside dog, in the summer he can not stay out all day; he will be panting after a bit, he likes the ac! Zeus is also territorial. He is house trained however if other animals are around he will "mark his territory". We have a female Shih Tzu and they get along well, but he is not good with big dogs or other male dogs. He loves to sleep by you! He is also very protective and yelling makes him nervous and go into protection mode, he will start growling if he believes "his persons" are in danger, and he gets confused about the kids yelling & rough housing around and doesnt know how to act. Zeus loves to go for car rides but again he is territorial so if anyone that he's not used to gets close he's barking and growling. He does well on a leash and loves to play fetch, when he wants!

These pups are in New Orleans, Louisiana too!

Story
He’s 81 pounds of mighty love— it’s Boudreaux the olde English Bulldogge mix! Boudreaux is 7 years young and hasn’t met a creature he couldn’t get along with. Surrendered to ARNO after his owner was experiencing landlord issues, this bonafide charmer is ready for his next chapter. His foster mom has taken him to work where’s been a star performer. He also gets along great with other dogs, cats, kids, is housebroken, and rarely barks! He loves to go on (short) walks and getting the zoomies in the yard. While he may have some missing hair due to alopecia, his beautiful wrinkles make up for the lack of fur. Boudreaux is commonly referred to as a “ham” or “booty” for his easygoing, fun, and well-behaved personality. He's quickly become a favorite pup and will make his future family feeling very lucky. But don’t let his size fool you, he is not very food motivated and will stop eating when he’s full, maintaining his beautiful figure. He lights up the room whenever he goes and he’s hoping his next stop is at your house!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. My name is Coco. I am a 4 year old boxer mix who would love to meet you.I only weigh 48 lbs, but ARNO has fattened me up. I was found dragging a chain behind me and a sad past, but you would never know it. I am a happy and playful girl. I appreciate every little thing as I get to know the good life in foster, but I would love a home of my own. My foster says I am good with everyone and everything. I will spend the rest of my life thanking you! Story
NOTE! Please read the last paragraph to learn how to apply to Adopt or to Foster Grady! Well, look who is ready and waiting for Adoption OR a Foster Home! It is GRADY, the Boxer mix we recently rescued. He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him...well, except for cats...they don't like him much. Grady has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!! He came to us at about 62 pounds, but he is still thin. We believe he is approximately 2 years old, probably less. He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar. It's so cute to watch! Grady is house-trained and he knows 'sit.' He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return. He's playful, but will chill with you on the couch, too. Grady is good with other dogs and children; but NOT good with cats. He's an all-around great dog and has many years ahead to fill your life with love and fun! Please apply to Foster OR Adopt him by completing the online application you will find near his photos on our website, www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org !
