** Please read to the end to learn how to adopt! Gus is an adorable and affectionate Boxer mix who is eager to find his forever home.  He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him!   He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!!   He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin.  We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less.  He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar.  It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.'  He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return.  He's playful, but will happily chill with you on the couch, too ! He is good with other dogs and children.  He's an all-around great dog and has many years ahead to fill your life with love and fun!   If you're looking for a sweet and friendly dog,Gus is the one for you!    Please apply to Foster OR Adopt Gus by completing the online application you will find near his photos on our website,  www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org

Story
Brayden is a rescue, extremely intelligent, and great with people. For the most part he will not poop or pee in the house but take him out every 6 hours. He does have some separation anxiety so don’t leave for more 3 hours at a time. I am pregnant and taking care of a baby and a dog is a bit much for me right now. But I love Brayden.

Story
Meet Bleu. I’ve had Bleu since he was just 2 months old — he came into my life from a close friend whose dog had a litter. Now, at 4 years old (he’ll be 5 in November), Bleu has grown into a playful, affectionate, and energetic companion who truly thinks he’s a big baby. This decision hasn’t been easy, but due to changes in my schedule and responsibilities, I can no longer give Bleu the time and attention he truly deserves. He’s been my baby since day one, and it’s incredibly important to me that he finds a new home where he will be deeply loved and well cared for. Bleu is very active, loves to cuddle, and is always up for playtime. Bleu loves long walks , rubs and snacks. He thrives in a home where he can be part of the family and share in your daily life. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and affectionate dog, Bleu might just be the perfect addition to your home.

Story
Adopted him from LASPCA in August 2023. He’s a very sweet, affectionate dog, big time cuddle bug! He is high energy, it’s important that he gets good exercise and has and outside area to roam. He loves to sit in the sun and sunbathe.
