Story
This is our sweet precious Lucy. Lucy had an owner but her owner used to turn her out every day to wander the streets. A friend of the rescue would pick her up when she saw her and bring her home. She feared that Lucy would get hit by a car so one day when she returned her home, she asked the owners if they would surrender her to a rescue. They agreed and Lucy arrived here happy as a clam. She's a big girl, not fat, just a big girl. She's a very gentle big girl, sleeps in my bed with all the little ones sleeping on top of her! She loves children and cats. She was heart worm positive when she arrived but we have cleared all of that up. Lucy maybe a little older at 8 years but she has the energy of a puppy. She loves to play all day with the rest of the shelter dogs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and house broken. She needs her forever home, could that be you? PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $350

Story
Meet Chief, a loving and spirited sweetheart! This darling boy is not only clever and energetic but gets along fantastically  other other female dogs. Chief has also cohabitated peacefully with two male dogs that were smaller than him. Chief would thrive in an active home with another medium to high-energy dog or as the only dog with plenty of exercise.  Because of his energy level, Chief is seeking an adult-only home or those with children aged teens and above.  Chief is crate and house-trained, making the transition to his furever home even smoother, especially with his food motivation! His favorite activities include  playing fetch, tossing his durable toys in the air, and chewing on a peanut butter-filled Kong. If you can throw a tennis ball, you'll have a friend for life in Chief! Chief is friendly and super affectionate. He cherishes his people and delights in snuggles and belly rubs. Chief sleeps contently in his crate through the night but prefers the companionship of his humans as much as possible during the day.  Don't hesitate to send in your application for Chief at https://underhoundrailroad.org/adoption-application/. Chief is currently being fostered in North Carolina and may transport along the East Coast as far North as Maine to his adoptive home. April 9, 2024, 8:24 pm

Story
Bella & her running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. She has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! She is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, she is a loving playful pup. Bella is a joyful soul who bonds closely to her people. This 60 lb dreamboat will steal your heart and shower you with love every day. Her furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. If you are interested in learning more about this really sweet and deserving girl, please feel free to text or call Alecia Clark, @ 901-486-2850. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. His adoption fee of $275 includes her vaccinations, spay, microchip and transport to her new furever home. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure she is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.

Story
Traditional and classic is just what you will get with all around good boy Rex. Rex is a 3 year old handsome fella with a athletic build with a big adorable head to match. Rex had a difficult and sad past but Rex is now thriving and working hard. He has had professional training, and this buddy loves to train and learn new things! Rex enjoys toys, especially a Kong filled with peanut butter or any type of puzzle game.  Rex would make a great walking companion and is very well leashed trained.  Rex listens to commands well and knows when its time to go into his crate. For short periods of time Rex has done well left out of his crate without any attempts to chew or eat anything he isn't supposed to. Rex lives with several other dogs in his foster home, and has done with with male and females dogs that are a bit smaller in stature than him.  Rex would be excellent partner for an active individual or family who loves to spend time continuing to adventure and train!  Don't wait to put in your application for this sweet, goofy, forgiving and full of life boy! Apply today at www.underhoundrailroad.org  Rex is currently being fostered in South Carolina and may transport to his adoptive home as far North as Maine. April 9, 2024, 8:24 pm
