Story

This is our sweet precious Lucy. Lucy had an owner but her owner used to turn her out every day to wander the streets. A friend of the rescue would pick her up when she saw her and bring her home. She feared that Lucy would get hit by a car so one day when she returned her home, she asked the owners if they would surrender her to a rescue. They agreed and Lucy arrived here happy as a clam. She's a big girl, not fat, just a big girl. She's a very gentle big girl, sleeps in my bed with all the little ones sleeping on top of her! She loves children and cats. She was heart worm positive when she arrived but we have cleared all of that up. Lucy maybe a little older at 8 years but she has the energy of a puppy. She loves to play all day with the rest of the shelter dogs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and house broken. She needs her forever home, could that be you? Story

This is George. He is an 80lb American Bulldog, and he is loved very much by my partner, my two young kids, and me. Writing this hurts my heart. We adopted George last spring from someone who rescued him from a breeder and have been working with him ever since. He is very good with my children (7 and 10) and our other (small) terrier. Hs well trained to listen to commands such as place, go to your room, off, nice to meet you, and the basics like sit and stay. We are looking to rehome him because of his aggression towards other dogs. Over the winter, during one of our training sessions, he got free from his collar and attacked a dog in our small neighborhood. Since then, we have redoubled our efforts by signing him up for a weekly pack walk at the local daycare and working with our trainer more consistently. Recently, he escape from our home and attacked another dog. The neighbors are starting to take issue with him because he represents a danger in such a tight neighborhood.

Bella & her running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. She has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! She is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, she is a loving playful pup. Bella is a joyful soul who bonds closely to her people. This 60 lb dreamboat will steal your heart and shower you with love every day. Her furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure she is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.
