Honeybuns is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky guy who greets life with enthusiasm! He gets excited easily and may jump or pull on leash when he’s eager to go exploring, but with a little guidance (and maybe some tasty treats), he’s ready to learn better manners. While walking through the kennel aisles, he can be reactive to barking or excited dogs, and he may bark or growl back at them. Because of this mixed dog-to-dog behavior, a meet and greet is required for any home with another dog. Once he’s out of the busy shelter environment, Honeybuns shows his softer side. He’s a total snuggler who loves being scratched all over—especially on his butt! He’s also quite playful and enjoys squeaky toys, making him a fun companion for an active adopter.
