He was surrendered by his previous owner due to time constraints, and they shared lots of helpful insight about the wonderful dog Samson is. According to his former family, Samson does well with dogs smaller than him and has never been around cats. He’s great with kids and knows some basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake — always happy to show off his manners! Samson absolutely loves going for walks and brings lots of enthusiasm along, so he may pull on the leash a bit from excitement, but that just means he’s ready for an active buddy to help him polish his leash skills. Shelter staff describe Samson as a mellow, easygoing boy who is very good with people. He enjoys attention, has a calm presence, and would make a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate dog who’s past the puppy stage but still full of love, Samson could be the perfect match. Come meet him and see if he’s the one for you! 🐶💙
