Don’t let his short stature fool you — this compact guy is bursting with energy, charm, and affection that’s guaranteed to make you smile. Playful and curious, Short Stack is full of love and a little bit of mischief (the fun kind). He’s treat-motivated, already knows “sit,” and is a great candidate for learning more with someone willing to keep working on basic manners and enrichment. Short Stack would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. He’s happy to get out for walks or zoom around the yard, then settle in for snuggles once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy. While he can be around other animals, Short Stack would really prefer to be your one and only at home so he doesn’t have to share his favorite people. He’s looking for a family who will enjoy his goofy antics, give him structure, and let him be the center of attention. Meet Clara – A Sweet “Squatty” Bully Looking for Her Second Chance Clara is a roughly 2–3-year-old, 53 lb gray-and-white bully mix with a big heart tucked inside her compact, “squatty” frame. She first came to us as a stray on 9/22 after roaming the area for several weeks. Though unclaimed, it was clear she had once been cared for — she arrived in good condition and had previously had a litter. Clara was recently adopted but has been returned, through no fault of her own. In her temporary home, she showed her family so much love and proved what a good girl she is. She is housebroken and crate trained, making her transition into a new home much easier. Shelter life can be overwhelming for Clara, and she may seem a little shy or shut down in her kennel. But once she’s away from the noise, she completely lights up. Clara rides calmly in the car, walks beautifully on leash, interacts well with other dogs, and will sit politely for treats. She loves her outings, but the hardest part is bringing her back — her tail tucks when she re-enters the shelter, a clear reminder of how much she longs for a home of her own. Clara is young, resilient, and full of love. She’s ready for a stable, patient family who will give her the consistency and kindness she’s been missing.
