Story
Rodeo is one of our wonderful deaf dogs! He's an extra-big, cuddly, energetic boy who simply loves humans. He relies on hand signals and a vibrating collar for communication and knows the signs for Heel, Stop, Sit, and Come. He's smart and willing to learn--all he needs is an adopter who will take the time to reach him in a way he can understand. Rodeo's vibrating training collar is included in adoption and his recall on it is toned in to perfection. He'd love to find a home with his best female friend, Lydia. We promise that once you've forged a bond with this dear dog you'll be in for a lifetime of love! Story
Meet Kia! Are you looking for a goofy, friendly, playful, up for anything kind of gal? Then Kia is perfect for you! She loves, loves people, and gets along well with other dogs that can handle her boisterous playstyle! Her lively and slightly odd greeting can freak some dogs out but she is just trying to play! She seems to think she is only about 10 pounds and likes to wrestle with her doggy pals as if she is! She also gets along with horses!  Kia would likely thrive in a family home with plenty of people she can share all of her love with! She enjoys giving hugs, kisses, or any type of attention she can get! Kia knows her basic obedience such as 'Sit' and how to walk on a leash but this older gal would prefer to lounge around and live out her golden years without all those training expectations! She enjoys her walks, napping in cozy beds, as well as the occasional dip in the pool when the weather is hot. Kia is also both crate and house trained so she should easily adjust to a new home! Could you be the one this older gal is waiting for? Call the Ranch to come meet her today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
If you are looking for a couch potato, Paco is the dog for you. He starts out a little slow with strangers, but once he warms up he's a loving, friendly boy. He already knows how to "Sit," "Shake," "Lie down," and walks well on the leash. If he’s done something wrong, he puts his paw up to apologize. How is that for endearing? Paco loves car rides, hanging out indoors, and treats. All he wants is to be with his human soulmate 24/7. And he loves kids! Call the Ranch to meet this lovable boy today!   We ask for a $250 donation for all of our senior dogs.   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Peterbuilt!   This boy is true to his name: he is large, in charge and reliable. Peterbuilt has a super-sweet temperament that he loves to share with his owner. He can often be seen soaking up attention whenever he can get it, even if that means pushing his face and body up against the fence for scritches. Despite his impressive appearance, he is a big softy and loves his cuddle time!    Peterbuilt shows off his beautiful smile and adorable head tilt whenever you have treats or his food in hand. He is incredibly eager to learn new things and loves spending one on one time with his people! Peter would likely enjoy a home where he can lounge around but also have some daily mental stimulation. He's an intelligent boy and would likely get bored without some daily training or puzzle toys. Peterbuilt would also LOVE a home where he can go on lots of car rides! Any chance he gets he tries to get up in  a car to go for adventures! He would likely enjoy being a traveling companion for a semi-driver or someone who is on the road a lot.    While Peterbuilt is very strong he does know his basic leash manners however he will need reminding from time to time to stay by your side so he will need a strong and confident handler. He also already knows other tricks such as 'Sit', 'Shake', and 'Wait'. He is eager to learn more and would be an expert in obedience with more daily training.    Call the Ranch to learn more about Peterbuilt and to schedule an appointment to meet him!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Mabel!  Behind those sweet, gentle eyes is a loving gal who is looking for a quiet home to really blossom. Under that timid exterior is an incredibly loving and cuddly personality! She loves to give kisses and gentle cuddles to those that she knows and trusts. Once she feels safe she shows off her full body wiggles and big beautiful smile! Mabel is currently in a foster home and her foster has said that she is a delight to have in her home.  Mable and a few other dogs came to us back in January of 2023 when her prior owner passed away. All of the other dogs have since found homes but Miss Mabel is still waiting patiently for someone to scoop her up and give her the love she deserves. Mabel has had some positive experiences with other dogs she may do well in a home with the right canine companion or two but she would also be perfectly content with being your one and only love. Could you be the loving home this quiet girl has been waiting so long for?    Call the Ranch to come meet Mable today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Otis was born in our home and has been with us his entire life. He is a very good boy, but needs a lot of attention. He does not do well with little kids because of the loud and high pitch noises. He does fine with my kitties, but I couldn’t tell you if he will do okay with other cats. He will need to be the only dog, as he doesn’t socialize well with other dogs and can be perceived as aggressive instead of playing rough. He is not an aggressive dog by any means, but is very excitable and has a ton of energy. I have medical issues and am forced to move, and will not be able to keep him in my new living situation.
