Story
Bear was born on October 15, 2022. My female dog had a litter of 6 and I ended up keeping him. He grew up with me in my camper on my parents property and has been my best friend ever since. I am alone most of the time and do not have many friends or people over so he has basically been with me only. He needs a partner that would pay attention to him. I started training him for service as a diabetic alert dog, but did not get far because I was busy with school. But he has been exposed to alerting to low blood sugar. I trained him to the vest and manners in stores and long distance bus trips. He would respond very well to a job and service training.

Story
Lala Dixie is ready to snuggle her way into your heart! She is uber-friendly and can't wait to make friends with everyone she meets. Lala is playful, sweet, and cuddly – she is actively seeking anyone who likes to snuggle, since it’s her favorite thing to do. She loves to play with her brother (Lalo Dixon) and take lots of naps – classic puppy life. Lala is already showing how smart she is, by doing a perfect sit for treats. She sleeps quietly in her crate all through the night, and is making great progress on her potty training. Puzzle feeders are one of her favorite activities and helps stimulate that developing brain. Playing tug-of-war is also one of her favorite games. Lala and her brother were rescued together, and Lala has a sweet and calm personality that we believe comes from being under her brother’s protection while surviving on their own. The first thing you will notice about Lala is her beautiful shiny black coat that is irresistibly silky soft – you can’t help but pet her! Her markings are striking - we love her white socks (feet) and white chest. She’s got a little white tuft on her chin too – you get a closeup of this every time she comes in for kisses, which this pup loves to give. Lala’s sweet soulful eyes will hook you and you are sure to be rewarded with all her love and affection if you are lucky enough to be her special person. Lala’s personality is cautiously quiet and calm, but she warms up quickly to any attention – she loves to explore just as much as she loves to be snuggled right in your lap. Lala would fit right into a family with other dogs or cats (see her video for the briefest of cat tests), but she would also be perfectly happy to be the star of the show. Lala is currently 21 lbs, 4.5 months old, and we think she may be a Bulldog/Pit Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Lala Dixie is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Kai is a purebred American Bully. My mom and her partner got him about a year ago, we also have two German shepherds and a smaller female bully. He was originally owned by a friend of ours, it was a single dog household with a small child, who he loved to be around but was constantly in a kennel, not walked and forgotten. So we took him in hoping to give him a better life. But over this past year we have seen that Kai would rather be the only dog, as he constantly shows animosity/aggression towards our male German shepherd. It has created a feud between the two that is becoming worrisome and unsafe. I truly think his only rough spot is other dogs. As once he’s out playing ball, riding in the car, and watching TV he’s happy and content. Getting back to Kai himself, he’s house trained, kennel trained, sweet, sometimes vocal, and very loving. He’s had a rough life, all we want is for him to find a home that’s truly comfortable.

Story
Born on July 4th, 2019, our American Bulldog, a bundle of joy, joined us at 12 weeks. She's a survivor, overcoming a toy-induced surgery at 15 weeks and being spayed at 20. Known for her warmth, she loves cuddles and is a playful spirit, cherishing her toys and mastered potty training. She’s food-enthusiastic and occasionally fixates on a ball. She loves her cozy space. Ideal for her is a spacious home, preferably with a yard, and she’s great with other dogs. Not fond of leash walks, she thrives in her home environment. She’s a perfect companion, embodying love and happiness, ready to enrich a loving home.

Story
Meet Bane, the talkative tail-wagger with a name that's more superhero sidekick than DC villain! This chatty canine was discovered on a country road, surrounded by his brother and four fabulous sisters, proving that even the most villainous-sounding pups can be the heroes of your heart. Bane isn't interested in world domination; he's all about dominating the game of paw-giving during playtime. This independent charmer will fill your days with laughter, conversations that only a dog can understand, and adorable moments of him insisting on a pawshake mid-fetch. If you're ready for a paw-sitively delightful companion who will have you wrapped around his little paw in no time, adopt Bane and let the hilarious adventures begin. Don't miss out on the chance to bring home a superhero in disguise - Bane is waiting to conquer your heart with love and laughter! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
