Hello friends! I’m Gremlin the couch potato and I love to snack and snuggle. I am a 6 year old bully who loves to lounge and snuggle but I’ll turn circles for treats and play time! I will dance for snacks and I love it when you dance with me. I was rescued from a shelter in San Antonio in rough shape. After a long road I am now super ready to have a couch and a family to call my own. I do very well in the bath and I don’t mind having my nails trimmed. I am not a fan of other dogs but could do ok with an older, mellow male as U don't like hyper dogs that get into my face. Cats are a No No for me but I love all humans, large and small alike and I am a people pleaser. I love my daily strolls and get very excited when someone says the W word. Meet Max... Max is a sweet guy who loves humans, small and big. He's good with most dogs as well. Max enjoys nothing more than being around his people and snuggle up but he's also ready to go for car rides or enjoy outdoor activities with his family. He is house and kennel trained. While Max is good with most dogs we recommend female dogs. Max only issue is that he is food aggressive with other dogs (not with people) so he has to get fed in his kennel or in another room. This is something that's easy to manage. Max was abandoned together with 6 other dogs in an apartment in deplorable conditions. He was there for 3 weeks when we heard about it and rescued him and the others. So we can't blame him that he does not want to share his food. Other than that he's an absolutely great dog. Charming Chido 🐶 From the streets outside of Houston to a snuggly bed inside your home. This boy has come a long way. Despite his horrific past, Chido continues to put faith into people and other animals to do right by him. His love for cats alone speaks volumes about his gentle nature. He makes friends very easily, with animals and people alike. Chido loves to spend most days with a short walk, playing with toys and sleeping. Chido sleeps a lot! He is gentle with children, cats and most dogs. Chido is dog selective. However, to be fair, as long as other dogs aren’t trying to make him submit or jumping all over him, they will get along just fine. Noise like thunder and lightening along with fireworks do frighten this sweet boy. He will need comforting during these times. As long as he knows you’re by his side, he quickly calms down. Chido deserves a patient household. Someone that either works from home or is retired to chill with. He suffers from separation anxiety. So, having a relaxed companion to hang with would be ideal for sweet charming Chido. Chido is an inside the home companion NOT an outside dog. He deserves every bit of love we have to give and more. Chido is nearly 4 years old and weighs a healthy 63 lbs. American Bulldog and possible boxer mix Walks well on leash. Knows basic commands. Potty trained. Heart worm positive-is on slow kill meds (hartguard) this is one monthly pill which is low cost. Chido should be tested annually to monitor the heart worms Chido does suffer from occasional hip arthritis which makes it hard for him initially to get around. This hasn’t happened in recent months and has only occurred twice since he’s been in my foster care. However, when it does occur, I give him a quick hip massage and encourage him to rest. I believe it all stems from an old injury. His X-rays only showed signs of inflammation nothing broken or previously broken. Aside from the heart worm diagnosis, Chido is a healthy and loving companion

Bones is your average bull terrier. He knows basic commands, is house trained, does wonderful with people, and does well with larger, older children. He is a freight train with no breaks on occasion. He has a super sweet personality and is just a plan joy to have around. He loves toys and treats and enjoys tug-o-war as a reward for good behavior. He shows a very high prey drive and will chase small critters, usually without intention to harm them. He has no off switch. His zoomies are a sight to behold but he has no idea when to shut off play mode until he's completely worn out. He needs a home that can keep his brain as well as his body busy on a normal schedule. We would be willing to consider a home with another dog if the dog matches his energy or is very very passive. He tends to be to much for most dogs and hasn't learned the cue that other dogs are done playing. Bull terrier experience is a MUST for his new family. He is not a dog for the faint of heart or new BT owners. Once you help me work out my energy, I’m a sleepy snuggle bug. I am kennel trained and potty trained. I had a very rough beginning and I have come a long way. I do well with other dogs and I love to chase cats who run from me. (I don’t want to hurt them but they don’t want to be my friend) I do well with people though please remember I’m still a puppy so I’m still learning and I get very excited with humans so I need a family who has older children or a family who knows that I have some learning left to do and are willing to teach me.
