Story
2 months old Female (will need to be brought back to the shelter to be spayed after her first heat cycle) Puppy classes strongly recommended Looking for a home with the time and patience to raise and train a puppy starting from square one! I'm currently staying in a foster home, please contact the shelter if you'd like to meet me! Tasia has puppy vaginitis and will need to go through her first heat cycle before she can be spayed. Her adopter must bring her back to the shelter for her spay so you must live within reasonable traveling distance. A spay deposit will be required and returned in full once she's been brought back to the shelter for her spay. I'm an adorable baby whose litter was born and raised in foster, and now we're ready to strike out on our own! Our mom is a sweet 45 lbs. Bulldog-type, but no one knows who our dad was, so we’re a bit of a mystery! We’re already all around 10 lbs., so we’re likely to be medium to large-sized pups. Having lived in foster homes all of our lives, we’re well-socialized pups who are off to a great start, but we need loving, patient, and dedicated adopters to teach us all about living in a home and being a well-mannered companion. We’re blank slates that will need to be taught everything from basic skills like potty training and leash walking to commands like “stay,” “come,” and “sit.” Puppy classes are strongly recommended not only to help us learn the basics but also to help build a strong bond with our families and to continue our socialization. If you’ve got the time and energy it takes to raise an adorable puppy from square one, adopt me and let's start our journey together! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.  May 9, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Meet Frosty! Oh! Hello, my name is Frosty. You can't sneak up on me like that, I'm deaf and can't hear you coming. If you just stomp your foot a little, then I can feel the vibrations. You could also be really gentle when waking me, or if I'm awake, you could wave your hand to make sure I see you. I'm a super good boy, and I must have been loved at one point because I'm a well trained gentleman. I go potty outside, I do very well with humans 13 and up. No little humans please! I haven't met any cats, and I'm selective about my dog friends and would rather be able to show you all of my love without others interfering, so I would do best as your one and only. Now that I'm a 70-pound senior, I'm looking to be loved by humans who will want me forever! I really enjoy cozy, warm places to nap and will even wear a sweater to help me stay warm in the cold temps. Boy, no one told me it was going to be so cold in Wisconsin! I love to go on sniffari walks and play a little with my stuffies inside the house. But the thing I love the most is getting to spend time with my people. Snuggles on the couch or in the big bed, butt scratchies and getting pets are some of my all-time favorite things. Foster mom says I have the best personality and can be quite a goof from time to time. She says I've been the best house guest, and anyone would be lucky to have me in their home! I don't need to be in a crate while you're away because I don't chew on things that aren't mine, and I'd do awesome going anywhere you'd like to take me. All in all, I'm a pretty well-rounded guy just looking for someone who needs a loving companion to make their days brighter! I sure hope that's you! *Frosty has a neuter appointment scheduled for Jan 30, and can go to his forever home after that. *Frosty is being fostered in Plover, WI. Story
Hello! My name's Putter and I'm ready to be your new best friend! I am an American Bulldog/Retriever mix weighing around 70 lbs. They tell me I am a sweet, smart dog who is considered medium energy. My favorite things include cuddling, car rides, and long walks! I would prefer a home with no kids and could do well with the right dog or cat who can respect my space. I love to play fetch, but sometimes I don't understand that I have to drop the ball to keep playing! . I know basic commands like sit, down, paw and I walk pretty well on a leash. I'm slow to warm up but once I know you, you'll have all my love forever! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $375All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Illinois applications are considered if the home is owned, no small children reside in the home and if there is an excellent vet check. Sweetie, also known as Sweet Girl, arrives in Wisconsin towards the middle of May. Sweetie is as sweet as her name implies. She is about six years old and weighs around 51 pounds. In her foster home, she lives with other dogs. She does not have experience living with cats or kids though. Sweetie has not always had the best life, but since being rescued she has gotten the vet care she needed to be a happy, healthy dog. Being a bulldog, priority will be given to adopters with specific bulldog experience. We know her photos in her profile are not great, but we are working on having her foster send more soon. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Learn more or begin the application process at Paddy's Paws at paddyspaws.blogspot.com
