Story
Leroy is such a goof, and a total stud! This beefy bully came to us from MADACC with the most loveable personality. He is very stocky, and loves to try and get other dogs to play with him in a somewhat awkward manner. Leroy has some of that typical bully stubbornness, so he would do well with a family who can set clear boundaries to ensure he's successful. Overall Leroy is just a great dog! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
Meet Frosty! Oh! Hello, my name is Frosty. You can't sneak up on me like that, I'm deaf and can't hear you coming. If you just stomp your foot a little, then I can feel the vibrations. You could also be really gentle when waking me, or if I'm awake, you could wave your hand to make sure I see you. I'm a super good boy, and I must have been loved at one point because I'm a well trained gentleman. I go potty outside, I do very well with humans 13 and up. No little humans please! I haven't met any cats, and I'm selective about my dog friends and would rather be able to show you all of my love without others interfering, so I would do best as your one and only. Now that I'm a 70-pound senior, I'm looking to be loved by humans who will want me forever! I really enjoy cozy, warm places to nap and will even wear a sweater to help me stay warm in the cold temps. Boy, no one told me it was going to be so cold in Wisconsin! I love to go on sniffari walks and play a little with my stuffies inside the house. But the thing I love the most is getting to spend time with my people. Snuggles on the couch or in the big bed, butt scratchies and getting pets are some of my all-time favorite things. Foster mom says I have the best personality and can be quite a goof from time to time. She says I've been the best house guest, and anyone would be lucky to have me in their home! I don't need to be in a crate while you're away because I don't chew on things that aren't mine, and I'd do awesome going anywhere you'd like to take me. All in all, I'm a pretty well-rounded guy just looking for someone who needs a loving companion to make their days brighter! I sure hope that's you! *Frosty has a neuter appointment scheduled for Jan 30, and can go to his forever home after that. *Frosty is being fostered in Plover, WI. Story
Meet Tony! Hello friends, my name is Tony. I'm a big guy, weighing about 60 pounds, and I'm considered a senior gentleman. I get along with everyone I meet and am the perfect trifecta! Cats, kids, other dogs, no problems with any of them. I do my pottying outside and don't have accidents in the house. I might be a big guy, but I'm as gentle as they come! I'm super relaxed and quite the gentle giant. I don't jump, I love car rides, and I'll hang out with you every chance I get. At night time I'll sleep in the big bed with you and try to leave you a little room to sleep. I really show that I'm relaxed by stretching out to thank you for giving me a spot in your home. If you have a bed big enough for a king, I'll show you that I'm the king you're looking for in your life! I sure hope I get to come home with you soon! *Tony is being fostered in the Rhinelander, WI area. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Loki is very sweet, gentle, and just an excited dog. He likes to play and run, loves walks, and snuggling. He is crate trained, house trained, doesn’t bark, has never been aggressive in his life, is great with cats, kids, and other dogs. I’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he’s ten now. He still has a solid 5-6 years left. I don’t have the time or capability to care for him anymore or give him the attention and life he deserves.
