Story
What’s better than one amazing companion? Two hearts that belong together. Meet this beautiful bonded mother–daughter duo, Boo Boo and Romie. Through no fault of their own, these sweet girls were surrendered to our rescue when their family’s living situation changed. While they don’t understand why their world was turned upside down, they’ve held onto what matters most — each other and their endless capacity to love. Boo Boo, a 4-year-old American Eskimo, is the definition of a gentle soul. Her fluffy, long coat is on its way back, and so is her confidence. She is the ultimate lap dog, happiest curled up close, soaking in belly rubs and affection. Boo Boo is incredibly smart, calm, and sweet, the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. Her daughter, Romie, is her perfect mini-me. Just like Mom, Romie adores attention and thrives on love. She eagerly rolls over for belly rubs and lights up when she’s being doted on. Watching the two of them together is truly special — their bond is quiet, constant, and full of trust. Both girls are fully housebroken and love spending time exploring the backyard side by side, taking in the sunshine and fresh air. They do well with cats and can get along with other dogs with proper introductions. These girls have already experienced the heartbreak of losing the only home they’ve ever known. What they’re hoping for now is a soft place to land — together — and a family who will love them for the rest of their lives. If you have room in your heart and home for two loyal souls who promise twice the love, Boo Boo and Romie are waiting If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application .
