Ice Pick Wysteria came to us from a breeder where she was relinquished by no fault of her own. It was simply time for her to retire. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 02/14/18 and she currently weighs 21#. Photos were taken after spay surgery & she is still very sleepy. She will be groomed before adoptions & require grooming for life.  She has been vet. checked, spayed,  micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She was heart worm negative & had a dental. Her adoption donation is $400 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Hi there, I'm Boo Boo. I'm a sweet senior gal looking for a permanent place to retire and enjoy my golden years. I have diabetes and have lost most of my eyesight so I need someone who can help me monitor my health. The staff at HSHC has been very accommodating by finding me a foster home until I find my forever home. I really like my foster family, they are respectful of my blindness and always signal their arrival before giving me attention, this way I don't get startled. Because of my age and my personality, I'm pretty calm and do great with cats! If you have any other pups in the home, I'd love to meet them before going home with you. Will you give me a place to enjoy the rest of my life?

*SPECIAL NEEDS* This handsome boy is Comet, he is a 5 yr old 40 lb American Eskimo. Comet is house, crate and leash trained who requires a fenced in yard to run and get exercise, he will need monthly grooming. Comet is not fond of strangers and has a bite history, he needs time to acclimate to any new humans that come in his life. He is not aggressive just people selective and an experienced dog handler is preferred. He would not do well with kids of any age or cats but is dog friendly. Applicants interested in Comet would need to have short visits with no touching or petting until he feels safe and comfortable with you, NO EXCEPTIONS!
