🐾 Meet Marshmellow
With a name like Marshmellow, you’d expect her to be sweet—and this fluffy girl absolutely delivers.
Marshmellow is a beautiful 3-year-old American Eskimo who spent her first three years as a beloved indoor family dog. She’s now looking for a new home because her previous owner’s circumstances changed, and she comes with plenty of experience being a wonderful companion.
Marshmellow LOVES her people. She wants to be near you, beside you, and on your lap. She enjoys being held, adores being petted, and will even reach out with a paw when she decides she could use a little more attention.
She’s smart, too! Marshmellow already knows sit, down, paw, and even dance. She’s house trained and has a particularly helpful way of communicating when nature calls: she’ll paw at you to let you know she needs to go outside.
And outside is one of Marshmellow’s favorite places to be. This girl loves running—and she is FAST! She enjoys playing, exploring, and spending time around water. Just don’t assume that her enthusiasm for water extends to bath time. Marshmellow would like it officially noted that recreational water and bathing are two entirely different matters. 😂
Marshmellow has lived successfully in a multi-dog household and does well with other dogs when properly introduced. She’s also good with children. Her feelings about cats are still unknown.
There are a couple of things her future family should know. First, Marshmellow is a talker, so she’ll be a better fit for a house than an apartment. She also likes her food, so it's best that she eat separately in her own space.
She has also had a Cystotomy with the finding of Struvite crystals recently, so her adopter should understand her medical history and be willing to feed a prescription urinary diet for the rest of her life.
Marshmellow is affectionate, playful, clever, house trained, crate trained, good with dogs and kids, and absolutely delighted to be part of whatever her people are doing. She lost her previous home because life circumstances changed—not because she stopped being a very good girl.
If you’re looking for a fluffy little shadow with plenty of personality, some impressive dance moves, and enough love to keep your lap permanently occupied, Marshmellow is ready to meet you. 🤍🐾
