Hello, my name is Willow and I would love to be your travel sized companion! I am a petite girl at about 26 lbs. - the perfect size to join in all your adventures. I am about 3 years old so I am past the puppy phase, but I still have a ton of energy to share! My rescuers don’t know much about my life before I was found by the side of the road in Oklahoma, but my foster family says my spunky personality is really starting to shine through. I am just figuring out what it means to play with toys and how to use a couch (silly me, I thought that leaping straight to the back and perching there was the right way). I LOVE playing outside with my canine foster siblings, going on walks, and car rides. Obedience training is a new concept for me, but I am ready to learn! I am not a huge fan of my crate but will sleep there quietly all night. I haven’t had a single accident inside my foster house, I don’t pull too much when walking on a leash, and I don’t jump up on people unless my foster siblings are setting a bad example. I can be gentle with kids and don’t have much interest in cats. I am a bit of an escape artist, so my new family will have to be careful with me around doors, and I would prefer a fenced yard. I am an energetic girl, so I would love to find a family or person who will help me get plenty of exercise.  My foster mom says I am a gorgeous girl, but the best thing about me is my enthusiasm for EVERYTHING! I’m spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and ready for adoption! Adoption donation fee is $375.  PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. Story
Jolie is an unusual mix of American Eskimo, Pomeranian, and Poodle, which has resulted in a 100% cute puppy.  Born 11/06/2023, her current weight is 10 lbs, but it is estimated that her adult weight will be about 20 lbs. Jolie is a happy, active puppy who loves to play, but also enjoys quiet time in her kennel. She has recently learned to enjoy spending time in the shower, too.  Although she isn’t yet completely potty trained, Jolie does well when taken outside on a regular schedule.  She has also learned to use potty pads when in the house.  Jolie is currently teething so she needs plenty of chew toys.  Jolie plays well with other dogs, but knows when it’s time to back off.  She will do well in a home with a confident resident dog.  Jolie has a tendency to be vocal so apartment life may not be appropriate for her.  Information about adopting Jolie is included below. The suggested adoption fee for Jolie is $415.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. Meet Jordan, born 11/6/23 and a super cute mix of American Eskimo, Pomeranian and Poodle! At just 10 pounds now, this little ball of fur is on track to reach a full-grown weight of 20 pounds. With a personality as unique as his mix, Jordan can be a tad vocal when meeting new faces, but don't let that fool you—his heart warms up quickly, especially around fellow canines. Beneath that fluffy exterior lies an accomplished jumper and climber, making a six-foot fence the ideal boundary for his adventurous spirit. Jordan has mastered potty training and walking on leash. With his love for other dogs, he's yearning for a new friend to share his adventures and cuddle sessions in his forever home. Information about adopting Jordan is included below. This guy has been my best friend for 7 years and it is going to be extremely difficult to see him go. We adopted Zeke into our lives as a puppy very much expecting him to spend all of his years with us. Unfortunately, we have two kids and he does not get the attention he deserves. The good He’s house trained and hasn’t had an accident in a long time. He knows some of the basic tricks such as sit, down, and wait (with a treat I’ve had him wait for over 30 minutes). His crate has an open door policy. He loves being in his crate (never a punishment). He is loyal to his family and friends. He loves his belly rubbed and head scratched The bad He will bark through windows and potentially scratch them if they are in his reach. He loves to run on the leash but does not walk on the leash without pulling. He has high anxiety around strangers, he has nipped a few people in the shins but when he is introduced properly he’s your best friend within minutes. He has never aggressively bit anyone.

Buddy is a very sweet little guy.  He is about 10 years old and 7-10 lbs.  He is a happy guy.  He has lived with other dogs and does fine.  He ignores the cat in his foster home.  He has been around kids.  He really just likes some attention and love.  He is housetrained if you get him out enough.  He he is great on a leash.  He is neutered and recently just had a dental and all his vaccinations done.  He is a doll.   To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs.   All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first.
