Kiwi is a wonderful little eskie boy who had a very rough start. He was removed from his home by animal control when they saw the neglect for his care and the living conditions. He had a dental at the shelter and lost 24 teeth (he has 14 teeth left). Kiwi has been in our care since October 18th and is flourishing with love and proper nutrition, daily walks and play time. He has been completely vetted and he is in good health, considering, with only one elevated liver enzyme (ALT). Kiwi is taking daily denamarin, a liver supplement, and his liver values will be rechecked.Kiwi will need to be given time to warm up to strangers, and we do not recommend young children in his new home. He has a lot of love to give and will make a wonderful additon to a caring family.Update, Kiwi is good with adults but I don't reccomend him for very small children, he reacts to fast movement.  I do believe that given time he would do well, with anyone.    Once he knows you he is all love.For more information please contact  Gary Gary@eskierescuers.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Banzai, affectionately known as "Buddy" is believed to be a Pomeranian and Cairn Terrier mix. He's an adult dog, exact age unknown, as he was found running stray. Buddy is potty trained, walks well on leash, and sleeps in his crate. He is a true velcro, usually found in his foster mom's shadow. He is spry, likes to run and play outside and does puzzles and plays with his kong too. He guards his food from other dogs,  so he needs to be fed separately from other pets or to be an only. He gets protective of his fav person, so adopters will need to understand that and work with him to be comfortable with others. He is great with house guests and warms up quickly with treats!   The groomer says he is always well-behaved and we know he enjoys being brushed. He will jump in the car anytime you open the door and quickly settles in for the ride. He's the perfect companion, always up for a walk or to snuggle up near you for a snooze on the couch. He loves to be near his people!  Banzai would probably be happiest in a home with no or older kids that will give him space when he needs it. He barks when people come to the door, and rarely barks otherwise now that he knows the all the sounds in his foster home. Banzi is available through One Dog At A Time. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lewistown, PA Buddy is a 4 year old handsome Pomeranian that lived his entire life in a goat pen and was utilized as a stud on a breeders farm.  We were thrilled when they decided to give him up.  He is a little timid but very friendly once he is comfortable with you.  There were no children on the farm so we are unsure what he would be like with kids.  We are just getting to learn about him but believe he will be a great companion.  He will need some basic training but is super smart and will do well with some consistency and patience. Pomeranians need regular grooming and upkeep of their gorgeous coats.  Our adopter will need to understand this important commitment.  Are you the right home for this sweet stunning boy who deserves to experience a family of his own where he can be the baby?  Thank you for considering adoption through ODAAT.
