Story
Gigi is an incredibly loving, happy, energetic little girl. She loves walks, running, playing, and will do anything for a treat! She’s great with other dogs and would be especially happy in a home with another playful dog who wants a companion to run, wrestle, and play with to her heart’s content. She has never shown any aggression and is truly such a sweet dog. She’d be best suited with an active person/family or a home with another energetic dog who can be her built-in best friend. She is potty trained and knows some basic commands. We really want to find the right fit for her, somewhere she’ll get lots of love, exercise, attention. If you think Gigi might be a good fit for you or someone you know, please send me a message and tell me a little about yourself and your home! Happy to answer any questions about her or arrange a time to meet her.

This little two-year-old Chihuahua mix may take a little time to decide you’re her person—but once she does, prepare to have a very devoted sidekick.Sammy has been spending time in foster care, and we’ve loved watching her confidence blossom. In the beginning, she was easily startled and cautious with new people and things like leashing up. Fast forward a couple of months, and her foster tells us Sammy is thriving! She’s housetrained, walks nicely on leash, happily lives alongside other dogs, has done well with cats, and loves being wherever her person is. She sleeps curled up next to her foster at night and is always ready to claim a lap or offer up her belly when it’s time for some love.Even her social circle is expanding! Sammy has successfully met visitors to the home, done well with a pet sitter, and recently surprised everyone by climbing onto the bed to hang out with three visiting friends, accepting treats and pets like a champ.Sammy is still a sensitive girl at heart. Sudden movements can occasionally startle her, and she appreciates people who let her build trust at her own pace. But she recovers quickly, and with patience and consistency, we’ve seen just how much this sweet little dog can blossom.If you’re looking for a loyal companion and don’t mind earning her heart rather than having it handed to you immediately, Sammy might just be your girl. Give us a call or stop by the shelter Tuesday–Sunday, 11am–5pm to learn more!
