Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.4/23/23 Still available. 4/16/23 Still available. He’s making good progress, still shy but coming around! Please don’t overlook this little guy. A little update from his foster mom- He is crate trained, house trained, dog friendly, and cat friendly! He is a great little pup. He will need patience though. He still has fear of men. And may be very fearful upon entry into a new home. He will need lots of patience. He’s very insecure, but learning slowly. But he sleeps with me follows me everywhere and just loves me. He is a good little dog! 3/23/ 23 Meet Aerosmith! This little guy will need a special home. He is part of a group of dogs that were taken in from a hoarder situation that was beyond horrific. All of these dogs are incredibly shy and scared. However, after only a week in their foster homes, they are coming around. They will each require adopters who are very patient and calm around them, while they adjust and learn that they are safe. These babies would not be candidates for families with young children or homes that are super busy/loud. Aerosmith is probably around 4 years old and weighs 15 lbs. He is a chihuahua mix. Aerosmith has made great progress in the past week. We have noticed that he is much more confident when he has another confident dog to mentor him. Preference will be given to adopters who have at least 1 other dog who is kind and welcoming. Aerosmith wants to be loved, he just isn't quite there yet, but he's making great strides in the right direction! House trained and crate trained. Good with cats.
