FIVE MONTHS and counting — that’s how long sweet Tino has been waiting for a foster or forever home after being heartbreakingly surrendered by his family (through no fault of his own — it was a cat issue!). Tino is a 2-year-old, 65-pound lovebug currently stuck in boarding at Lucky Stars Kennels in Carroll County, Maryland — and he is SO ready to break free and join a loving home. This handsome boy was a daycare favorite at Lucky Stars, known for his affectionate nature and A+ snuggle skills. He thrives on human connection — belly rubs, playtime, and simply hanging out with his people. Unfortunately, after one bad experience with a small dog, he can’t do group play anymore. Tino would LOVE to be your one-and-only or could do well with a calm female dog buddy. Tino is: Neutered  Great with older kids  Crate-trained  Active, fun-loving, and full of life  Always ready for a good frog pose stretch (and belly rubs!) This sweet pit mix has waited long enough. After everything he’s been through, Tino deserves more than a kennel run — he deserves a real home, a best friend, and a new chapter. He’ll thrive in a home with structure, exercise, and plenty of affection — think walks, hikes, a fenced yard, or weekend adventures. His heart is wide open — all he needs now is YOU. Hi, I’m Jenna, a low-energy, sensitive girl with a famously expressive bombastic side-eye and a quiet sense of humor if you take the time to watch me. I was very shy at first and needed a few days (and lots of treats) to feel safe, but once I settle in, I enjoy being near my people—just not on top of them. I’m a bit like a cat: I prefer observing from a cozy perch (the top of the couch is my favorite), appreciate gentle interactions on my terms, and am the softest, most polite treat-taker you’ll ever meet. I don’t need much exercise, I’m happy relaxing in my crate, and I do best in a calm, quiet home without children. I tolerate other dogs just fine, especially if they respect my space, and I’m closely bonded to my sister, Little Lady. New people can be scary for me, but with patience and time, I warm up and show my sweet, thoughtful nature. If you’re someone who values a peaceful home and enjoys bonding slowly with a dog who prefers to be admired rather than fussed over, I might be the perfect companion for you.

Hi, I’m Little Lady, a low-energy sweetheart who believes life is best spent snuggling on the couch—especially if there’s a heated blanket involved. I settled into my foster home quickly (treats definitely helped) and get along great with other dogs, enjoying their company without needing constant action. I don’t need much exercise—just a few minutes of gentle play or tug is plenty for me—then I’m happy to follow you around or curl up right by your side. I’m friendly with new people, a little shy at first but eager to say hello, and I’ve been an easy, well-mannered house guest all around. One of my favorite things is stretching out into a big “sploot” while getting pets, crunching on ice cubes, and yes… sleeping right on your chest. If you’re looking for a cuddly, in-your-pocket companion with just enough zest but none of the puppy chaos, I might be your perfect match.
