Story
Hi! My name is Munchie, and I like investigating everything around me! They think I am a Chihuahua/ Rat Terrier mix, so I won’t get very big at all, but there is still plenty of me to love. I am a little boy and am about 4 months old, weighing in at about 8-9 lbs. I do love to eat, though, and I love my naps after meals. I am great with kids and grown-ups alike, but I like the kiddos a little more. I recently spent an evening with my foster parents' 7-year-old granddaughter, and we fell in love instantly. I am also great with other dogs. My foster sisters are super nice, and I get to wrestle with Rudy. She’s a year-old Dutch Shepherd Mix that is about 6x my weight. I still win, though!!! My Foster Mommy and Daddy think I’ll be ready to house train as soon as I get the rest of my vaccines. I already go to the door like my big sisters. I haven’t been around cats, so I’m not sure what I’ll think of them yet. One of my favorite things to do is to steal Mom’s socks, but I always leave them lying around so she can find them. I love tug of war and chasing empty water bottles. Basically, I will chase anything that makes noise. I love my stuffed Santa to sleep with, and I sleep in a kennel all night by myself. I may fuss a little at first, but I settle down fast, and it’s off to dreamland. All in all, I’ll make a great family dog and can fit in if you have room in your heart for me. To adopt Munchie, please fill out an application at rangersreach.org/adopt Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home.
